    These filters have a terrible smell like burning plastic. It doesn’t go away. I had it on for 3 days and smell didn’t change. I ordered these filters before and they didn’t have this smell! It’s really awful I’m returning them

    This filter works very well for the insignia air purifier. The only problem is that this filter is frequently out of stock. Each filter lasts me just barely three months. I bought four, that will last a year!

    This item is as expected. it fits the unit.
    The only complaint I have is that it is not washable.
    Even the outer ‘sleeve’ is not washable. These are expenisive and the unit has a timer for 6 months. I do like the purifier.

    Overall helps to reduce dust and occasional cooking fumes. The charcoal layer seems to wear out fairly quickly so the it doesn’t freshen as well as it does for the first 4 to 6 weeks of light to moderate use but after the first nearly year of use it is not covered with dust or lint if that gives you an idea of how long it lasts in a 1 dog household. Mostly keep it at level 1 so maybe doesn’t really exchange the air that much.

    Filter does a good job of helping to keep the dust down and pollen out of the house. Had to order online as the Best Buy in my town is on the smaller size. Order was processed, shipped quickly and arrived in a short amount of time, so no big deal.

    I bought my air purifier around Black Friday of 2022, and have vacuumed the filter once since then. Just this last week the red light appeared telling me I needed a new filter (6 months). The purifier will still run if the light is on. If you try taking out the filter and putting the same used one back in, it knows and the red light doesn’t turn off. I love my air purifier and getting a replacement filter was super easy. I also received a $5 certificate from my air purifier purchase that went towards this filter. Would buy again!

    This is not an in-expensive filter to replace, but it does work very well. Our unit is running constantly at low speed because we have pets, so we only get a few months of use from it. That said, we definitely notice an improvement in air quality with this product.

    When the air quality from outside was very smoky from the Canadian wildfires, this air purifier kept the air particle numbers way down in my home as long as I kept my windows shut. And before I realized there was an air quality problem outside snd my windows were open, this air purifier told me that the numbers were way higher than usual. This caused me to check the weather news. As a side note, it also is very good at detecting if someone has been vaping near its location….

    The filter is easy to install. I think the price on hepa filters is a little too high for something that should be replaced about twice a year. I wish it had a washable exterior to extend the life of the filter

    These filters clean the area in my apartment so great. I have 2 of them. I have less allergies and less dust. My apartment has wall to wall carpets. I’ve had these filters for less than a year and I’ve already had a few friends buy them too. They are so quiet and automatically increase and decrease air flow as needed. Didn’t even increase my electric bill.

    I use this one filter for over 12 months. I vacuum it when i get the notification to change it and i reuse it 2-3 times. Then i replace it for new one.

    I have two of these, it takes time to clear odors. It appears to remove smoke and other odors but some still linger. They are expensive.
