    We have had nothing but issues with this ice maker sadly. The first one installed did not work. We had someone come look at it to advise it was defective. A new one was installed on Monday. We have gotten multiple trays of solid ice chunks that layer the entire bin. This has been a month process now all for ice??

    It works slow, but it works. I bought it with my refrigerator. I don’t think it is fair that this item is an extra charge.

    Installation instructions didn’t fully match what was in box/needed to be done. Makes ice alright, but a little on the noisy side. Price was good though. Overall pleased with purchase.

    This ice maker has problems with the ice cubes sticking together so sometimes you get 7 or 8 cubes in a frozen hunk. It may leak a little water when filling the ice maker up. Other than that pain in the neck, it’s just a standard ice maker.

    It is not producing any ice at all. I am awaiting delivery of a new refrigerator and ice make to replace the faulty ones. I have, of course, received my payment due information in spite of the fact that I don’t have one.

    The ice maker is good but for some reason there’s always a portion of ice cubes that get stuck together in the tray directly under the ice tray. When the ice is made there’s some dripping which cause the cubes to stick together. Not sure why.

    Pros:
    Well designed. Working great. Not noisy.

    Cons:
    The instructions actually had several mistakes and omissions mostly regarding the mounting screws.

    Every time it makes ice there a lot of water that comes down with the ice and then they all freeze together. And yes I am going to call them. And the first gentlemen who came to put my ice maker in stated that it did fix the refrigerator with even opening the box. I will give the second genetlemen 5 starts

    This ice maker is for specific brand/models. Do your research as i found an error on the BB website. Otherwise, this installs relatively easy (if you have basic mechanicL skills) and works as it is intended. It can be a little loud but thats an ok trade off with consistent ice making. Would recommend.

    Easy to install, works good , don’t expect an abundance of ice quickly. However the cubs are uniform and solid so the last longer than ones with air bubbles . You will need to purchase a connection kit from water line in you’re house to the water pump for ice maker

    Good product and fast installation.At the first,I didn’t notice that the refrigerator didn’t come with ice maker.The first person to install the ice maker could not install it but blamed it on the water valve.I am not happy and called asked to send another guy. Then the person who came over for the second time quickly installed it.

    The icemaker is nice. But getting it and installing it… UGH.

    Getting it: If you’re like us and want to add the icemaker after you’ve had the refrigerator delivered, you’ll find that it costs $100 to have it delivered (plus the $99 for the product). I tried to have it delivered to the store to save the hundy, but they couldn’t do that – so I called and was told that I needed to go into the store and they could zero out the delivery fee – and that the person on the phone could not offer that. That’s way too many hoops to jump through, but hey, we wanted ice. So I drove to the store to order the icemaker for delivery to my home. Rediculous, right?

    Installation: The instructions and included hardware were pretty confusing and missing screws. What should be 20 minutes turned into an hour of decrypting and roulette choices. They give you two sets of three screws and three pairs of holes – meaning you have mismatched screws. It all worked out, but drilling holes into your new freezer is pretty stressful.

    This is unlike any other fridge ice maker we’ve ever seen. I assume it’s working fine – it’s in a rental unit. But when we were installing it, I noticed that the way it makes ice is it fills an area much like an old fashioned ice tray – and then I guess once the ice is frozen, it tips it out. It is specific to the insignia fridge. Was a pain to install – instructions were not great

    Ive had my new fridge 5 months the icemaker is junk already. Made ice then water dripped on the ice causing a hugh clump of useless ice, now its not making ice all all. Cheap junk

    I am sure this is a fine ice maker, but it just can’t be installed on my new Insignia™ – 18.6 Cu. Ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator – Stainless Steel. It does indicate that it is a match, but the technician said he could not install it without damaging my refrigerator.

    I’m really OK with that, I just wish it hadn’t taken 2 months to discover it.

    Buyer beware they tell you that they can install and then they do not they send people out waste your time promise you concessions and never deliver at least they delivered my refrigerator but I do not have we’re working ice maker and I had to purchase extra for installation for the ice maker parts and for the ice maker itself all of this money now I’m out on my time I also didn’t get any of the gift cards they promised me don’t do it

    The service for hooking up this Ice Maker has been so unprofessional we have not been able to use this ice maker. So far we have had 2, one to replace the first that never got installed correctly. Now this replacement is missing parts and still does not work.

    This ice maker was installed when delivered, but never made ice. When wanting to get an exchange, they wanted me to uninstall the ice maker and bring it back before they would set up delivery for a new one. Very poor customer service for not standing behind their own branded product. At this point they can make both the refrigerator and the ice maker back
