    Probably my fault, but this seems to only work for PS5 hookups and specific external SSDs. Didn’t work with my Apple computers. Bought in a hurry because it’s the better looking of the two external NVMe SSD enclosures – go with the Insignia if using for external Mac storage.

    Keeps the M.2 in My Niece’s and My PS5’s cool an running perfect. No issues at all, installation was really easy with a few screws an some thermal pads. Make sure to remove the clear protective peel on the thermal pads before installing.

    This is my third time buying this product to expand storage on the ps5 and works perfectly first time was when the ps5 first came out and never had any issues with cooling

    Worked very well with a 4tb WD sn850x m.2 drive.

    I think I kinda pressed down some to get the drive to fit in. It’s a 2 sided drive and the thermal pads are kind of thick. But It worked very well so I guess that’s normal and isn’t a problem. As for the look, i prefer this over a lot of other heat sinks out there!

    I put my m.2 drive in it about a year ago and it has worked very well keeping it cool. I don’t think the m.2 drive ever got hot.

    Before I got this heatsink I’ve read so many “pads are too thick” reviews that I didn’t think it will work with my SSD, but purchased it anyway. I’m glad that I did. The housing and pads are perfect fit for one sided chip SSDs like my spare Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB. I was also worried that the height of the enclosure might interfere with the gpu slot, but it fits just right as you can see (or not see because of the dual slot gpu on top of it) in the picture.
    Using this heatsink in Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 3 motherboard with the Samsung Evo Plus. Temps on temperature sensor 3 were reaching 100C during benchmark before the enclosure. Now the maximum never goes above 67C on sensor 3 and about 53C on the first two sensors.
    I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it for one sided chip SSDs.

    Bought it to use it with WD 850 NVMe 4TB. Installation is very easy. Even in the awkward position I put the SSD (under a RTX3090), it still manages to lower the temperature 6 C. Good buy.

    Bought this for the 4tb sn850x but was disappointed. Included thermal pads are way too thick. Screw holes dont line up properly unless forced. At that point ssd slightly bends.

    This heatsink is great, it’s easy to put together and and has given me no problems paired with my ssd for my PS5. It’s great value for the price and feels secure once it’s assembled. Comes with a small screwdriver for the nails so no need to worry about buying one to assemble it. Easy simple instructions as well. Worth adding if you’re trying to be safe with your PS5 SSD.
