The Insignia Hard Shell case for iPhone 15 Pro Max is a very nice case and offers good protection. This case is made for iPhone 15 Pro Max and fits very nicely. It fits securely without being too difficult to remove once it is on. It is made from a polycarbonate plastic, so it should offer good protection from falls and bumps. Insignia claims protection for up to an 8 foot drop. It also features raised edges around the edge of the case as well as surrounding the camera lenses. So it is safe to set your phone on a table or something without fear of it getting scratched. The material around the edges of the phone is a nice rubbery material, but smooth at the same time. It offers just enough grip to be comfortable to hold. The buttons for power and volume are very nice and have a metallic sheen to them. They feel nice to press and offer a satisfying click when pressed. The same metallic looking material surrounds the camera lenses on back, however, on my case this whole piece feels a little loose. Just loose enough to kind of drive me crazy. There is a slight rattle anytime the phone moves, and I can even kind of hear it rattling in my pocket when I walk. I don’t know if this is just my unit or something inherent in the design. But it is something to be aware of if you decide to go with this case. Lastly, this case also feature mag-safe compatibility. You can clearly see the magnet design in the case, and from my experience it works perfectly. Having a compatible case is an absolute must if you have mag-safe chargers or accessories. You don’t want to have to keep removing your case every time you want to charge your phone. Overall, this is a very nice case that feel really well made and will offer lots of protection for your phone. The material on the camera cut out might be a little loose, but it’s not enough of an issue to keep me from recommending for anyone looking for a good iPhone 15 Pro max case with mag-safe compatibility.

So this case is a great case. I have some reservations about purchasing this case versus some others though. It has positives and negatives like any other.
The positives are:
-It feels protective
-Looks great
-Unique color options
-MagSafe works perfectly
-Buttons are nice and clicky
The negatives:
-It is basically the exact same case I purchased a few weeks ago on Amazon for about half the price. The only difference I can see is the color options Best Buy has are only available when it has the Insignia brand. It is well known that Insignia, like most other in-house brands, does not actually make any products. Best Buy started and owns Insignia and they have products made for them to certain specs.
-The buttons on the case don’t stay straight or paralell with the case. They easily get a little tilted. This is not a big deal at all because you’d have to look for flaws to notice this.
Overall, as I mentioned, it is a great case. While you can get basically the same thing on Amazon, if you like the case and color, just purchase it. You can’t get these colors in this case elsewhere.

This case is a good feeling case it feels good in your hand, but the rubber around the edges pick up o much dirt, which is impossible to keep clean. Overall I like the case it’s a slim case that also protects the phone well.

I bought two iPhone 15 Pro Max on launch day at BestBuy and they both arrived as scheduled. I always put cases and screen protectors on my phones because we have kids and accidents happen, and I don’t think I’d be happy with any kind of ding or crack on the screen. I do have AppleCare+ through My BestBuy Total membership, but it does have a deductible and may result in the phone needing to be repaired or shipped out and replaced so I try to avoid that only for real damage emergencies.
This Insignia Hard Shell case is great, it has a slightly frosted look, works perfectly with Mag Safe devices, and has a textured silicone feel for anti-slippage. I usually buy and use clear cases and they have served me well, but they tend to turn yellow over time. I think the material on this case and the blue edge will help protect against that problem.
As mentioned, the case works perfectly with Mag Safe both charging and magnets holding the phone and case in my car. The picture is using my wife’s Natural Titanium iPhone but I will probably use it for myself with my Blue one so it will match almost perfectly. Fit and quality are outstanding, very pleased with this case!
