all in all, I would save these, enhance the grip of the controllers quite a bit. This makes drops far less frequent and just gives a better feeling overall. The one star loss is for the fact that the straps disconnected a little bit too easy from the bottom and are kind of a pain in the ….. to get back in place, especially for younger hands.

These grips are perfect. Meta should make their controllers come preinstalled with these. The first day I got my oculus, my controller slipped while playing golf. Added these bad boys and haven’t had a problem since. Another nice feature is the side straps you can put your hands in so they don’t slip around.

These grips have saved my bacon more times than I can count now – especially while playing beat saber, or anything more active. The number of times I would have accidentally thrown a controller at very high speed at my TV while immersed in VR is astounding. These grips make that much much harder to achieve! They’re also more comfortable too.

At first the worst part was trying g to get each grip to secure since it’s soft rubber material and very challenging to get get them to latch. You have to stretch the hole and somehow get it to go around a tiny piece. Once secured they work well enough… except they break because the rubber tears. (See pics) You can’t use an anchor charger without taking off the grips and that’s a pain. I had 2 different pieces rip. Also, if you’re a total tech member these things are NOT covered under any warranty. Since I passed the return date I have no recourse but to take the loss. Save your money.

These are nice due to the original loops on the controllers breaking off. They’re flimsy tho. I had to buy a second pair after 3-4 months. You need to remove them completely when changing out the battery.

These are Meta Quest 2 grips and I thought they would work on the Meta Quest 3 but I could not make it happen. They were nice though.

I spend WAY too much time playing Ragnarok and needed something that gave me a better grip. Got these puppies on sale and they definitely make a difference. The controllers are a lot easier to hang onto and the strap makes it so my hands don’t fatigue as much. I took off 1 star only because it is a PAIN to get them on.

These grips perform well. They can be applied with the MQ Strings that’s already attached to the original grips by routing them through the small hole in each new rubber grip at the bottom or by tucking the strings at the base and applying the grips over them. Overall, a great product.

Perfect fit and just what I -and anyone with a Meta Quest imo – need to be on your way to protecting your future of playing. With the original base kit from Meta there’s no real grip to the controls from my Viewpoint of game play. There’s just a couple old strings attached to each similar to the strap attached to an old digital camera. It does nothing to help or hinder either way.
These fit perfectly over the controllers and give them a good grip in your hand so you can properly have at it once in the Horizon. And, they adjust to fully customize your level of attachment so there’s practically no way to drop them mid-play (a great and must-have feature especially if you enjoy martial arts or other type workouts in VR or any type of game involving active motion and thrusting or punching like movement.)
All in all, you have every reason in the world to invest in the product at it’s low price tag but yet no reason to not pick a set up. If you’re someone who’s using your Quest a lot, a serious Creator, Gamer or even just a relaxed fan of VR/AR exploration than might be a little clumsy or afraid of dropping your controls-these will guarantee you will never have to worry about that again.
Since slipping them over my controllers and giving them a go I feel like I not only have an extra safety factor but more grip and therefore more control over the accuracy on my actions. The the product works fine, but we are unable to charge the controllers on the charging dock because it covers the charging access points. Having to remove the grips whenever we have to dock the controllers, and putting them back on each time becomes a hassle.

These work, however, if you have rechargable batteries or a charginging dock you have to remove these everytime you want to recharge. Also the piece that keeps them closed to keep them on your paddles is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get closed, so to have to remove them everytime you want to charge your paddles is an act of congress that you will more than likely opt out of.
