    It didn’t work straight out of the box. Went through everything I could. Buy a brand you recognize. Maybe I got a dud. But I’ll just buy Apple’s separate dongles as I need them

    Works well with my new MacBook Air. Video works great. Only thing I didn’t like is the usb-c slot isn’t or wouldn’t charge my iPhone. Not sure what it’s for. It said for power but???

    Extremely versatile adapter. I use it with my Mac Air. It allows me to plug in a HDMI for dial screen while at the same time I can plug in a flash drive and storage drive and still have open slots if I need them. Allows me to not have to change out adapters just because this fits everything you may want to plug in.

    As you know, the newer Macs only come with 2 usb ports. They took away everything else, so this dongle works perfect! Its small and portable

    A sub par adapter. Can’t run an audio card through it, or haven’t had luck with that. Everything else seems to work fine. Feel like it could have been much cheaper in price.

    I bought this to replace one by another brand which required drivers and wasn’t updated to my current OS. The staff at Best Buy guided me to this one and it’s so easy. Just plug in and use. No drivers, no software. It even has a slot for a card.

    This thing crapped out on me after less than 6 months. The ethernet speed slowed way down, and the ports work intermittently. I contacted customer service online and they told me to bring it to the Geek Squad at the store. Geek squad said they could not help me, even though this thing has a 1 year warranty and is Best Buy’s house brand. They suggested that I plug it into a supplemental power source, which made no difference. Waste of time and money.

    The reason for this item is that my new laptop only has one USB port, which I use for the mouse. I had to buy this Hub to be able to use my Flash drive, cooling pad (when needed) and charge my phone, etc. It works quite easy. I did not need the 7 ports, but this was the only model in store.

    This is a good, affordable adapter. There are adapters out there with faster card readers, USB ports, and the ability to handle higher video quality over HDMI. However, to get all of this plus Ethernet and pass-through charging in a very compact package at a good price makes this a very good deal.

    The adapter does get slightly warm in use, but this seems to be normal for every such offering on the market.

    I got a hub at Microcenter and it died four months later. I got this much cheaper hub and it’s still going strong for almost a year. Very rarely the ethernet connection isn’t recognized but I’m not sure if that’s a hub issue or the laptop/router. I just unplug it and put it back in and it works again.
