    After less than a year this cable no longer works properly. It initially shows that it is charging but if left over hours the item isn’t charged. Being aware of this I have plugged and unplugged from both the lightning and the USB-C ends. Sometimes it takes 2 to 3 tries to get the cable to work properly. Unreliable!

    Only 4 stars because it’s impossible to know how this will hold up over time. I bought it to replace an Apple cable which … wait for it … stripped its sheath at the connection to the device. What I like most about this one is the braided sheath and the extra material in the jackets covering the plugs. Oh yeah and the price was right!

    Use it to fast charge my phone in my car. If you buy this, you will require an USB-C brick. For the car, which I bought it for, you do require a charging port with a USB-C outlet to use in a car.
