    The camera is a great camera the only thing is I’m not sure if you can turn off display while driving at night. Maybe just a red light to show it’s recording it’s just annoying in the early mornings

    Dash camera was a daily deal so the price was worth it. The camera has good quality front and back image during daylight although during night the reflection from headlights of other cars at night block image. It comes with a suction cup placement and two stick on ones, long cords and the from and back camera can adjust view.

    No idea if this worked or not. I got it as an open box item and despite the sticker it was missing key parts so couldn’t use it.
    On a visual inspection alone it looks like many other cheap Chinese dash cams you see online sold under a hundred different names. Has a pretty lengthy cord to attach the rear camera to the main unit but would require you to run the cable the length of the car to install.

    Got it as part of the deal of the day and got a opened box one for even cheaper as part of the promotion. So far so good seems to work decent. Install was easy and cords where plenty long enough

    This is my first dash cam but so far so good. The built in screen is a good size. Good enough to see easily but not big enough to be obtrusive. I like that it has actual buttons and not a touch screen. It has the ability to attach it to the windshield or the dash. One thing is that you have to format the sd card or else it reads that there is an error with the card. You format it with the unit itself and no need for computer. Also the manual says it can take up to a 256gb card but you can use a 512gb card. Also if you have a mini van you may want to order a longer cable to hook up the rear cam depending on how you try to place the wire through your vehicle.

    Few more dollars and you’ll get something way better. Quality of video will not help in case of an accident.

    Product does what it says it does; it records both directions that is set up to record with minimum setup needed in a decently sized compact sturdy body. Though the device does not come with any internal storage, so the end user will need to at least purchase and micro SD card. I would at least suggest something within the 32 and up range and even then you will still need to adjust your recording settings because this does not have an automatic rollover feature. So when the SD card gets full you will need to format the card so you can record more.

    This dashcam is unbelievably easy to install! The length of the wires are perfect with some to spare!. I wish the wires were slightly thinner but overall this is the perfect dashcam for front and rear views!

    I thought it would be protecting my car when parked in a parking area and record any active theft.
    It just records front and back footage when car is in transit. Just opened it yesterday and had since last month. Return timetable has passed so i’m stuck with it.

    Good camera, but for some reason SD-card does not work on mac (after being formatted on camera EXFAT). I reformatted on camera again (same problem, worse on camera, not on MAC) and then on Mac (where it worked on my mac but then didn’t get recognized by the camera). I called SD card tech support who stated it was the camera. I tried Insignia tech support who didn’t know what to do. Will have to return.

    Remember!!! 1 hour of recording equals about 20 GB (i’m not sure what encoding this camera uses so it’s hard to get an exact number). Has anyone tested the memory consumption of this camera yet???

    With a sharp 4k front camera, this dash cam is an excellent and affordable way to record any potential emergencies while driving. While the lack of an internal battery means you won’t be able to record anything that happens while parked, the video taken during your drive is quite clear and the camera will power on automatically with your car. Cable management is something of an issue, and you’ll need a separate microSD card.

    I’m not sure how this can be 4K. You can’t even read the license plates. Gets very hot and I suspect that’s why most of these dash cams fail sooner or later.
    It was relatively cheap so that’s a bonus.

    We have had this since March of 2023, ots a good camera with a clear picture but it doesn’t sgow how close vehicles really are to my car. I have never had ine before so that could be normal. I am trying to replace the suction cup because it keeps falling off but can’t find one. Again probably a me problem:)

    I’ve had 3 dash cams, and this one has had the best mounting suction cup but did not make it through the heat this past summer and melted so bad the buttons don’t work due to the pressure of the expansion of the product. I would have taken it out of the truck but it was purchased for the parked/motion detection. The picture/video quality was better than the others I have had in the past, I will give it that. I think the screen overcomplicates it and adds to many components that helped contribute to the swelling or melting. It does not look safe any longer and has a film or oil on it from the damage it took due to the heat.
