    A lot of plastic on this component compared to 100% metal for
    plain USB chargers of the past so less expensive.

With some Best Buy reward certificates sitting around, I finally caved in and decided to enter the 21st century with quick chargers, and this seemed like the best bang for the buck (and has proven its worth ever since).
