    Ordered for the summer since my room doesn’t have ac. it’s okay, it gets the job done. should’ve just went for a bigger one.

    Central air broke and I had to buy this portable air conditioner until I replace my unit. It works great. Room gets cold fairly quickly. My bedroom is over 250 sq. ft. and it still does a great job cooling the room.

    This insignia ac does blow cold air but struggles to keep my room cool on a 90+ degree weather.
    I had to return this unit twice to best buy not because it stopped working but because the hose broke and plastic parts of the window kit break easily when trying to disassemble it to clean them.
    If the plastic parts didnt break easily and it was able to keep the room cool at 90+ degree weather i would definitely gave it 4 or 5 stars. But nope!

    It’s okay. It does make noise but it’s okay. It’s pretty load but honestly it’s the best portable AC on the market.

    More to it than what meets the eye..I bought it for indoor veggie garden due to excessive heat killing them and the ac help amazingly making a nice environment for plants

    Needed extra coverage in a tri-level townhome. This fit the bill. It takes a little effort to install i.e. to create a draft-free setup. It works great. Cools a room down nicely! I hope it lasts. This is my first summer with it.

    Serves its purpose. I live in an apartment with wall a/c unit in the living room and in the master bedroom, but nothing in the 2nd bedroom and it gets really hot in the summer.

    I’m a petite girl who lives pretty much by myself, I took it out of the box when I was in the car before I brought it inside. I used my little cart to wheel it, it is heavy, but I was cautious. Very easy to install, and so convenient with the remote and it gets icy cold. Love it!

    There is nothing wrong with this ac except that it is based on a flawed concept. It is set up to take in room air and exhaust hot air outside thru its exhaust tube and cool air back into the room thru its top vent. By doing tis it is creating a negative air pressure in the closed off room that gets refilled thru the gap at the bottom of our door, pulling 80 degree air to mix with the cooled air. I have rigged another 6 inch tube to the intake and blocked the gap below our door so that the exhaust air is replaced by out side air and hopefully not mixed with the cooled air. All done with a bunch of zip-ties and duct tape.

    I PURCHASED THIS 2021 IT WORKED GREAT! BUT IT DIDN’T LAST LONG IT WENT OUT ON ME IN 4 MONTHS I DIDN’T GET A CHANCE TO PUT A WARRANTY ON IT I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED BY THIS BECAUSE I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED A PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER THE CORD HAD A SHORTAGE AND GAVE ME THE BIGGEST PROBLEM SO I HAD TO GET RID OF IT SO IF YOUR THINKING ABOUT GETTING THIS PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER GET A WARRANTY OR JUST DON’T PURCHASE IT AT ALL YOU WILL BE SAVING YOUR MONEY AND THE TIME

    This portable AC unit works great for bedrooms and medium sized family rooms. Its quiet enough for me and does a great job keeping the air cool. the duct work and supplied panels make installation a breeze.

    have high expectations when i got the product. setting it up was easy. but the parts that you have to put on the window was cracked untouched (it still had its tapes on from the packaging). tried to use the AC during the cold climate in hawaii (dec 2023) but it was blowing normal fan air. going outside was even colder than having this stayed on. so returned it the next day. WAS VERY UNSATISFIED.

    Alright the only thing you got to keep an eye on is the drain plug at the bottom will pop out and make a huge puddle of water. But works amazing and ran it all summer.

    if you want a portable air conditioner that cools your room down under 30 minutes, look no further. this air conditioner worked wonders for me because my room receives poor ventilation for the a/c in the house, after plugging this in my room instantly cooled down. perfect for hot summer days/nights!
