    Purchased this refrigerator and 5 weeks later it wouldn’t cool below 46 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Refrigerator does not cool. Set at 37 degrees but doesn’t get below 52. I’ve had to throw away all my food that was in there. I’m waiting on a technician to come look but I’d just as soon send it back. I had 4 personal emergencies happen with in three weeks so i didn’t even realize it wasn’t getting cold enough for two weeks. Then when I called, explained to customer service the problem, and he scheduled a reinstall, rather than a technician. Thank goodness for the insightfullness of the reinstall guy to call and really fjnd out what the problem was and get us scheduled for repair rather than reinstall.

    We purchased this refrigerator as our second one on clearance for a great price. So far it is good. Just temperature numbers are not matching with my thermometer. A first ice was a solid block but the third ice load it started to work good. No problems any more after one month of using it. We hope it will stay that way. We also purchased 5 years warranty to be safe. Best Buy is doing a good job.

    I bought this a few days ago, and I was so excited about the new fridge. But, I guess I have the same issue as others the door making a sound later, the light going out? My fridge barely fits in between the cabinets, and I cannot take it out. When the installer came, he unplugged it to get the light working again.

    This this is very spacious, alot bigger than my last fridge. The ice maker works great, makes cubes about 60% of the size of ice tray cubes. The water dispenser works great and the water is always somewhat cold compared to my tap water. …………….. Cons : My 2 big complaints are first, the glass shelf at the top doesn’t go up far enough so you don’t have alot of clearance at the bottom shelf to put jugs, pitchers etc. I put those in the side door storage. Second, the drawers and side door shelves seem kinda flimsy for a 1600 dollar fridge. I feel the need to be careful with them so they do not break.

    This was a gift to myself that I found on clearance and after 3 days of having it installed I’m loving it. The biggest feature was the water dispensor on the side which I have wanted since I found out they existed. The only complaint I have is that with no handles to specify where to touch I find myself wiping finger marks off daily which really ism’t a big deal since I love alone but I wouldn’t recommend this finish for someone with kids or a larger family.

    Horrible – bought in April of 2022 and it does not cool properly. Geek Squad and Best Buy have done nothing but give me the run around to fix the fridge.

    Purchased as open box item, I was told all open box items are tested to make sure they are in working condition otherwise they will not be sold. The refrigerator was delivered and never worked! Plugged it in and noticed it was not cooling, placed a bottle of water in freezer and it never froze, even though it signals that the temperature was correctly set. Then noticed I did not hear any motor or fans running. Called Insignia to schedule a repair person to look at it and the soonest anyone could make it out was a week later. Honestly glad that someone else in the home has a fridge and I was able to store food in it. The repair person said the compressor not functioning and they couldn’t fix it. How did they miss or overlook that before putting it up for sale? And this looked to be a display item so technically new never used which also makes no sense as to why the compressor of new refrigerator is no good. Now I have to deal with the back and forth of exchange or return not to mention the inconvenience of being left without a fridge.

    If I could give this refrigerator ZERO stars I would. The fridge doors DO NOT close properly. Best Buy came out and supposedly fixed it, but they are back to not closing correctly. The ice maker in the freezer falls off at the drop of a hat and is a waste of space. Not a lot of room in the fridge. This fridge is a huge waste of money, an absolute piece of junk. Run as far and fast from it as you can.

    We purchased this items on Dec 2023, 5 months into using this fridge, the fridge does not work properly anymore. The temperature only goes down to 51F. Despite multiple attempts to fix the fridge with the geek squad, issues still not resolved. Worst appliance ever! Not worth the money and time!

    Just purchased this brand new in December. It’s only May and the water dispenser and ice maker both do not work. I’ve been trying to get this fixed for over a week now and Best Buy is now saying they cannot find someone in my area(major city) to come look at it. It’s a their brand of a refrigerator!!! Definitely don’t recommend purchasing anything Insignia brand.

    Hmmm I don’t normally get clearance items and this is one I should have avoided. I should have stuck with the companies that know refrigerators. No support for this brand unfortunately without paying for geek squad certified service. Or out of pocket appliance guy.

    We purchased a few months later the fridge stopped cooling. No parts available for a repair, several techs tried to repair without success. Fortunately, I was able to exchange but the whole process is a nightmare, multiple calls, getting transferred from one rep to another and getting bounced around to end in a department where no agents are available and my call was disconnected. In Texas, being without a refrigerator in a Summer is not good. This has been the worst purchase I ever made. INSIGNIA is off my list for appliances options.

    Two-and-a-half years in, this has been a really good refrigerator for us. We love the counter depth, the ice maker and how everything is lid out. A small problem with the deli door getting caught up when sliding, but it was quickly replaced with no more issues. ONE DRAWBACK it’s VERY easy to leave one of the top two doors not completely shut. Fortunately an alarm sounds when this occurs, but it happens several times per week.

    Overall good product; doesn’t stay as cold as I’d like. Stays at 35 degrees unless you push the “Colder” button manually. Looks good and is effective.
