    good link cable for Meta headsets , I’ve bought three of them being that I have about 5 Meta headsets and $15 cheaper than Meat’s own kink cable

    This was amazing when I first got it. It worked as advertised. Then it began to break. I had to put tape on both ends of the cable just to keep its from bending and snapping completely. I used it for about 2 months before it broke. I was in the middle of my game and my headset disconnects from the computer suddenly. All signs on life in the cable just disappeared. It just stopped working. Overall this cable was great at first but the cheaper materials and overall worse build quality make this product unusable.

    I am very pleased with the results from this cable. I have had 0 issues thus far. I definitely recommend for anyone else like me who didn’t want to fork over an arm and a leg for a quest cable.

    HAVING A CHARGING CORD LONG ENOUGH IS ONE THING, BUT TO HAVE A DURABLE CORD IS TWICE THE RELIEF..

    It does what it’s supposed to but it doesn’t have the velcro strap that the 1st party cable has which means there is no way to attach it to the side of the headset to take the tension off of the USB port while it’s plugged into. HUGE oversight.

    Ive had a mildly good experience with the cable, its good in quality just not great, it doesnt need any braiding but, it would be nice at such a price. The cable also bends very awkwardly sometimes. It does meet the requirements for quest link if you’re worried about that

    This cable does not support USB 3.0 which oculus recommends via their software.

    Works great for charging and for link/PCVR sessions. Just make sure your mobo or IO ports support the speeds and its being read correctly. Use usbdeview and/or usbTreeView for the usb type its being read as as well as to see the power output.

    Works amazing so far and is very tough and rugged. I run it over all the time with my desk chair and still works perfect. Don’t have to baby this one like I did my quest cable and that one still stopped working.

It’s a straightforward and effective solution for anyone looking to enhance their VR experience by connecting to a PC. If you need a reliable tethering cable without any frills, the Insignia™ USB-C cable is a solid choice. Only ranking as 4 star since I could’ve found one cheaper online, but was impatient and went with this one, not disappointed by any means though.

    Cable worked great until just recently. Won’t recognize on laptop or Oculus Quest 1 or 2. And just so happens, my return window closed Jan 31st Great timing Insignia! Don’t waste your money.

    The Insignia cord is cheaper when it compares to the original quest cord, but it still has a deep price point as well at $60. I got this cord in October. The cord stopped connecting after two months. The cord is heavy which seems good, but after using it a few times, I already saw the wires start to bend and twist in unnatural positions. This is an embarrassment of a cord, and it pains me to say this considering that I loved the cord before it broke way too soon. A waste of $60.

    I work on my computer most days and I have poor eyesight. This cable keeps my Quest 3 charged with continuous use throughout the day. No extra batteries needed for the headset as I use it tethered most of the time. The cable is flexible, and long enough to reach across my 15 ft living room to my easy chair. It has a quality feel to it and I expect it will last as long as the oem cable from meta.
