    Simple product, but simple to use. Easily slips on wrist or ankle. Easy to tighten strap. Clip hangs securely to whatever you attach.

    As for effectiveness? Havent fried my PC yet.

    Not much to say for this item, it is good practice to use this when installing computer components and it does it job of eliminating static.

    My only complaint is that I wish the cord was longer for easier use

    metal clip easily breaks also very awkward to store
    the clip is very tiny and doesn’t want to grip into anything it just pushes itself off

    I had to replace an electronic circuit board and I understand even small amounts of staic electricity could damage the board. The iFixit was reasonably priced, easy to use and my circuit board is functioning normally.

    Works as advertised. Doesn’t ground the equipment but provides a high resistance grounds for you to the case. I usually touch a ground point (metal screw on my Tripplite extension box after attaching wrist band.

    I know you don’t strictly speaking *need* an antistatic wristband when building a PC but it gives me peace of mind. It also absolutely works, seeing as the first person who touched me while I was wearing it shocked me

    solid strap. the clip that keeps it tightened is a little wonky however because the strap is stretchy it honestly is easier to put on and take off compared to the old school velcro kind

    If you’re looking to use this for Static equalization. This will work fine.
    Just connect to the pc with the clip and the rest to your wrist

    I love the IFIXIT company. They make great ease of use items for pc builders. It’s not required to have this item but it grounds you to your pc case do you don’t short your mono or ran more specifically

    This lovely little doodad put my nerves at ease while I was assembling my computer on carpet. Works as advertised and it’s cheap so may as well spend the extra money to ensure you don’t dry your computer bits.

    Cheap and works. What else can I say? I haven’t got electrocuted nor fried my laptop yet. Sure I can probably get one cheaper on AliExpress or Temu. But if you don’t wanna wait just to save a buck 2… this is the best local esd wrist wrap you can get for the price.
