It appears to work as designed. Seemed expensive for what it is, but I’m unaware of a less expensive option. Similar piece of equipment by a different manufacturer failed after 6 months. Hoping this one will last.
MacUser –
Product didn’t work. I wanted to run two monitors with it. Ended up buying two separate hubs.
Tovar –
Works as expected.
The housing that joins both connectors has come loose after about 2 weeks of use. This doesn’t affect the function but shouldn’t come loose.
GulfCoastBuck –
I had one just like it for about a month and was impressed with it. I had to purchase another one because someone who came to my home liked the first one better than I did evidently .
AndyP –
Great product. Works really well with both my MacBook Pro and my windows laptop. My single complaint is that with the two USB-C connections, I can’t remember which carries the power (for the windows which only requires 1 connection)
Lucky07 –
Great design but heats up uncontrollably. I am kinda afraid that something might happen if i use it for a couple of hours.
JDBurbank –
Works flawlessly supports my 2 X external monitors at 1920×1088 and 1920×1200 plus an Audio D/A – A.D for music production and editing leaving 2 additional USB – Drive a bit high. I got an open box and saved a few “quid, Bucks” what ever, Kind of pain to disconnect becasue of that sleeve thing – but this lets you use a non Mac so I’ll live with that.
jgarza1989 –
Overall good product but DOES NOT work for a Macbook Air M1 Dual Monitor displays.
iNew –
Love having two additional hdmi outputs at 4k60. Gave me the extra ports I needed in my MacBook Pro.
Rebeccalyn –
Hooks up to other devices besides a Mac book, easy to use
Moses –
Great Product and hasn’t failed on me. I have a M1 Mac and it performance well. Only hiccup I’ve encountered has been using all three USB ports. It’s only able to do 2 at a time. Not sure why. Overall, I would recommend this product.
AniP –
A must have to add an additional monitor and to add a keyboard and mouse. I know it defeats the purpose of a lap top, but it is hard for me to just use the laptop keyboard.
Allan –
Works incredibly well for what I need it for. I run my Macbook Pro closed, but connected to a LG CX OLED and LG Ultrawide monitor, along with a webcam, wired keyboard, and wireless mouse. Works with no issues!
TwoFour –
My HyperDrive worked well for a while and now it’s constantly ejecting my SD cards, not taking my memory cards, USB’s and/or reading anything else I plug in. Now, I must spend more money to find a better replacement. Disappointing considering the price point!
NEOGAZZ –
Awesome connectivity with plenty of options and for anything you need.
George47 –
It does the trick, but has some flaws. The double-port plug is inconvenient. The device does get a hot after an hour or two. If the Hub Dock is bumped, one or both connected monitors connected to HDMI ports will go blank.
Kevin –
Does not deliver power to all my devices dont buy.
Azzi –
Works just how i want it too. Im able to use both my screens
XavierR –
Great product and it works great. Also great price.
Marcos –
Great usb hub. Works great with macbook pro 14 inch 2021
Roudy1 –
This works well with my new MacBook Pro. Definitely love that there are two wires to connect to the side of my MacBook.
MadgeZ –
For usb and Hdmai- this is a great hub. Easy Macbook hookup for 2 additioanl screens.
Doctor –
Have a bunch of USB devices and cables that predate USB 3. This is a solution that in the end saved me a fair amount of money.
Works fine. Lasts a long time. Won’t rust. Won’t bust. It’s a product you can trust.
Diver –
Cannot connect CD/DVD drive as no power supplied. If have a Printer, external hard drive, etc. plugged in with a USB mouse, the mouse freezes.
MaxieH –
Works exactly how I needed it to be. Fits everything I need connected
Chris –
Had this in use on a MacBook Pro M1 Pro laptop. This looks very good, has lots of ports, but it gets HOT, likely because it extends the USB-C charging port(s). A device should never run hot, not a good design element, and it wastes energy. Note: I also bought an Apple brand 3-in-1 port extender (HDMI, USB-A, USB-C) and that extender does NOT extend the USB-C charging port (cant charge phone), and it does not get hot.
Tricky –
I returned this item since it does not work with Mac Book Air M1 systems.
Dtrain –
Great device for connecting multiple input to new mac computers
MarieG –
I purchased this for my iMac Air and it was perfect. I was able to use for the mouse and when charging computer
KellyS –
Got this to use with my new MacBook which only has 2 apple ports. This uses both but allows for so many additional hookup options.
ChrisF –
Provided the needed ports for a film data transfer station.
TrekKnight –
This device is the perfect way to provide the ports that Apple decided their laptops no longer need.
ChristopherK –
Works well for getting my Mac to play on a larger screen
LatonyaJ –
Excellent and convenient item for my apple Mac laptop.
KarenW –
Works well. Enough ports for multiple items. Value is fine.
SethS –
Works perfect with the Surface Pro 9 no lag easy setup
ShijieL –
You won’t want to buy this product at this price. What it does is just one USB-C hub with several low-speed USB-A ports combined with a USB-C to HDMI cable. To be noticed, it won’t enable your M1/M2 chip MacBook to connect two external monitors.
RigoB –
PROS: Quick data transfer speeds, good build quality, and sleek look.
CONS: Little casing around the two usb cables slides off and makes for unstable connectivity. Also, takes up too many usb ports on my mac. Lastly, not sure if this is a problem with my MacOS or with this hub but anytime I connected it, I had display issues, my mac would randomly crash and it would not register connected accessories.
VERDICT:
Should be a good buy on paper. In practice, however, it has too many flaws that seem completely preventable. I used this for a week or two in my set-up and have completely ditched it since due to it’s overall reliability.
MustafaU –
Getting too hot and two slot for type c its it too big for my destop
SeanAvitable –
Works great for my new Apple Macbook Pro. Definitely recommend if needing to hook up to USB/HDMI/Ethernet. Works great both in office and for traveling.
DesmondC –
Exactly what I needed for my MacBook . I can plug everything up in one place while I’m working .
TechGadgetLover –
This hub costs less than many and works well with my 15” MacBook Air. It does get quite warm when in use but hasn’t damaged either my computer or my desk. It takes a hard push to connect the hub to a USB C port on my computer, but I can connect it, and I assume it will be easier to connect the longer I use the hub. I have a small roll-top desk, and the hub cables are just long enough for me to turn the hub sideways beside my computer or move the hub behind my computer to attach whatever device(s) I need to connect.
209reviews –
Fast and easy to use. Multifunctional. Only downside is taking care of the cable wear and tear if you travel with it a lot.
JeffreyW –
This hub is great. I am a DJ and switched from an HP laptop with 3 USB ports to the MAC that has none. I ordered this at the same time I ordered my laptop. When it arrived I plugged it in and it worked perfectly. The only downside for me would be the length of the connection cord. I use my laptop on a stand and the cord is not long enough to allow the hub to rest on the table. It hangs down a little and I am concerned that over time this may cause an issue. Just guessing though as I have not had any issues so far. I would still recommend this product.
VincentZ –
Use this daily on my macbook. I use nearly every outlet on this. I run a dual monitor from it, ethernet, as well as all usbs simultataniously. It costs a little more than I think it should
JJKRIEG –
Works just as it should. Easy set up and use. Love all the posts and that it still charges at the same time.
JayBeau –
have been using one daily for 2 years, its the only one out there that will truly run 2 external displays on M1 Pro chip. must be the pro version of the M1 chip. buying an extra incase anything happens to the one ive got now.

Russ –
Seems to work alright but it doesn’t supply power to all you might plug in.
JoeyC –
The item worked great, the ease of use with my MacBook Air was nice. For the price, it was great quality, and I would definitely recommend it for the intended purpose!
