Although it was a return item, it was like new as listed in original packaging and paperwork inside. Plus I do like this companies products. Only wish is that the HDMI was at 60Hz. and not 30Hz. They have no plans to update this model.

Well designed, sturdy when set up properly, good amount of port options on the built-in hub, nice hidden power-in plug on the bottom. The portability is a nice factor as well, folds up to a very compact bar that fits nicely in a bag if you need it. The only negative is the 4k 30 limitation on the HDMI port – for the price they really should have made this a 4k 60 video out. To my eyes the 30hz produces noticeable video lag but it’s livable in a pinch.

This looked like a great idea, but it wasn’t stable enough to depend on. My laptop would slide off with the smallest bump and it was bumped a lot on my desk.

The 100W PD port is near the Cable. This took me longer than I liked to realize this. Great design for me, with a good port selection. I wish the lip for the laptop was slightly larger. I’ve used it as a travel work station the last few days and it has really helped.

I see absolutely nothing exceptional or extraordinary about this device to justify the cost. I bought it for $39.00 and I believe that is way too much.

It gets the job done, but leaves some features to be desired. It’s a little too lightweight and therefore tends to fold up too easily. Like if the laptop gets bumped, it tends to try to fold up. The height locks arent quite deep enough, and tend to shift out of their holes when adjusting the screen position. This could be remedied with a little extra weight, and some locking mechanisms.

Worked Flawlessly for the first few week. Now it connects sporadically. If I shut down my mac and restart it might connect or it might connect ten minutes after first trying. Never had this issue with other docking stations.

The bad first: the laptop lifts feel a little flimsy, the hinge mechanism is easy to bump and change size if there’s no laptop on it.
The good: there’s a nice number of ports, when folded up it makes a compact dock, as a laptop stand it works quite well. There are some cable-management clips on the underside.

This is a well designed space saving laptop stand/hub. Due to limited desk space this product fits my needs. Because it is also a powered hub, I can use an external optical drive, usb powered condenser microphone and external webcam for Zoom calls. It is sturdy and well built.

Such a great product with an even greater simple design. Love all the built in ports including the hdmi. I use it for my at home work setup and its so easy to dock and undock. Its been a great purchase and a gem of a find for something I didn’t know i needed.

Better than nothing, but it needs a few modifications to the design. The minimum height setting is about 1/2-3/4″ too high for me. The second problem is the stand is too narrow. I have a 14″ MacBook Pro, and this needs to be about 1 1/2-2″ wider. The third problem is if you need to shift/reposition the laptop, the legs collapse. The big bonus is that it takes up very little space, and the build quality is pretty good. I have not tried to use the dock functions, so I can’t comment on that. Overall it’s okay, but I’ll be looking for something else that suits me better. It is overpriced for what you get. Perfect for my 11″ iPad Pro.

I REALLY like this thing. Best stand for a gaming laptop. Allows 100% breathing space for cooling and it gives you extra usb ports, sd csrd reader and hdmi. For my individual case, Id rather have another usb port instead of the hdmi because my pc already has hdmi out and i dont need a second. I also wish it would spread out wider. It DOES work for my 17 inch, but i really have to make sure its sitting just right before im satisfied with it and it places the ports down underneath my laptop making them pretty difficult to get to, so i use those ports for the components that stay on my desk (keyboard, dac, and cd drive). I still love it and im glad i bought it, those are just the only two things id change if i could. Idk why they limited the distance you can spread it out but they did and its not very wide at all. Its a very nice looking, sturdy, quality unit. Easy to transport. Nice to keep on the desk stationary. I would recommend to anyone.

It works as intended. I like that it is height adjustable. The power works fine. My only concern thus far is that the stand feels flimsy. It has not yet tipped over or anything like that yet. It just feels like it could.

This stand works great! It helps to access ventilation from all around my laptop, which helps to keep the laptop cool and in good working order. The charging ports all work well and take the place of the ports on the left side of the computer (which become unusable due to the new height of said computer). But they all work well together. The only thing that I would add is ports on the right side as well.

With the number of ports, this dock seems great in theory, but it’s practically useless. I’ve gotten it to work a couple times, and when it did, all was fine. I was able to use it to connect an external monitor and keyboard to my MacBook.
But then several times now, it’s just stopped working out of nowhere. The laptop completely stops recognizing any of the cords plugged into the dock, and the laptop stops charging. Unplugging everything and starting again does nothing.
I’ve had this for only a month, but since it’s already past Best Buy’s return window, they directed me to the company as it’s supposed to be under warranty. I emailed them over a week ago, and no response.
I need a dock to do my work, so looks like I’m out of luck and going to have to buy another, but definitely not from Best Buy OR Hyper.
This was a waste of $100.
