    It functions as intended, it’s the design that makes this useless. I use it with my brand new iPad Pro 12.9 M2 and there is a rubber bumper that sits between ipad and this dock. Everytime you plug anything to this hub it was become loose and stop working. You’ll have to keep pushing this back in. I don’t want to do that after spending $100 on a hub. I am returning this buying something that’s actually capable. What a waste of money this is.

    very cool hub for my ipad air. just be aware it get hot when multiple things plugged in and charging. although it would have been nice if it brought a carrying case like the hub for macbook does. using a microfiber cloth sunglass case instead.

    Works like it should. It didn’t come with instructions so I couldnt tell that the rubber attachments were interchangeble between devices and they just pulled off. It’s convenient, but it’s missing a network adapter. Cheaper adapters, but controls are the selling feature.

    Great hub for everything you need. Only issue I’ve ran into is I use a keyboard attachment and it doesn’t work perfectly with it on the iPad but other than that it’s got everything you need.

    I had to return it. The “USB-C” connector would not stay in when. This was verified by my local Best Buy store.

    This is a really great hub to have overall, especially for use with a Music app of your choice, but I had to return it because it wouls overheat and drain my iPad’s battery. When connected to power, it also overheats. For the price, I do not think it is worth purchasing.

    Works great with iPad Pro, Macbook and Windows laptop with USB-C port. You can charge your laptop and add a monitor, 3.5mm – 1/8″ stereo headset or connect to a stereo, use memory cards and USB-A devices at the same time! The play controls are great! It comes with a small cable you can attach to use it on other devices that it cannot be attached to like an iPad. Highly recommented.

    For those who use their iPad for media consumption, the external media playback buttons will become a must. I have an iPad Mini and a iPad Air and don’t like to watch any media without this little device.

    The forward and back buttons don’t work in all applications, but the play/pause buttons almost always do.

    It works in the apps I use the most…

    Infuse – Media Playback for my Local Videos
    All the buttons work. The forward and back buttons can be used for chapter navigation (perfect for movies and TV shows).

    YouTube (via Safari)
    I can on pause and resume playback. However, this is handy when cooking, so you don’t have to touch the screen.

    I haven’t used for music playback, but it seems like it should work with that without issue.

    If you need a hub, why get one that has added capabilities? Oh yeah, the other hubby features work great, too.

    This device can run a little warm, but it hasn’t caused me any alarm. It also can drain your battery a little faster, but the I can just plug it to charge while in use.

    After testing multiple usb c adapters, I found the best one with the added playback buttons. This is the most versatile adapter out there that is unmatched since it can be used with an iPad or any other usb c enabled device by using the supplied cable.

    This has come in handy although, the microSD card slot doesn’t work. The nearest Best Buy is an hour away from me so it would cost me time and gas to return it for another.
