    This product was a life saver! I’m someone who creates content and needs a lot of storage space for videos and photos so, using this with my external hard drives on my MacBook has been great!

    Not a fan of this product, I ended up returning and getting one with a usb-c cable. It works, but it has a delay and produces a concerning amount of heat. Also, the macbook won’t close correctly with this dock. Seriously, spend $5 more and get the corded model.

    Worked good while it lasted but, the black plastic thing the is supposed to hold the weight I guess to the things you plug in downs not allow the laptop to shut completely and the device stopped working less than 6 months I’ve had it, I pulled it out after doing some work and one of the connection got stuck inside the laptop port

    The hyper-DUO 7 port is good but it doesn’t have a port for charging the macbook air 15 m2 computer. The space for the charger is occupied by DUO-7 port. You better modify and add a space for the the computer to be charged while using all the other ports of DUO-7 port.

    I’ve had this for quite a while now and it is well worth the investment. Between being able to connect with multiple USB ports and an HDMI (which I do often), this little gadget is almost a necessity! I was fortunate enough to get this when it was on sale, so it made it a better value for me. It does drain the battery noticeably faster if it’s connected than when it’s not, so be mindful of that…but that is to be expected. All in all, a real necessary piece for the Macs!

    I was stoked when I saw this add on was available! With all the USB C ports in my new Apple laptop, one of my biggest concerns was compatibility. This easily hooks up and I love that there isn’t a cord to try to navigate around.

    Unable to use this if you have a case, I would recommend the docking stations that come with a built in wire so that you can connect without needing to give up protection.

    The spacer is great if you don’t use a protective cover. Without it it still functions properly and tightly.

    The hub doesn’t work well with MacBook Air as it blocks the power charging port, forcing you to use up a usb-c to charge the battery. The plastic thingy seems to design only for MacBook Pro and can’t fit with a MacBook Air, leaving an unsightly gap between the hub and the computer. Shouldn’t advertize it works with MacBook Air.

    I recently purchased a Hyper-DUO 7-Port USB-C hub.USB-C Docking Station for Apple MacBook Pro.

    It was simple to set up on my computer. It attaches to the left of my computer, plugs in easy and is unobtrusive. You just forget that it’s there. I’ve had no problems with the device and devices like flash drives, for instance are easy to plug in and remove. I would recommend this product.

    Product is good quality and works well. Only issue is I wish I could close the screen while it’s on without having to take the metal part off exposing the plug in. Overall it works as intended, it’s sleek, doesn’t cause delay or any lag.

    The dock itself is good but does not overcome the problems present in the design of the Macbook laptops themselves.

    Any dock that relies 100% on the stability of the USB ports to hold itself in place is just begging to destroy your laptop.

    The stand-off that comes with the hub is raised enough that it prevents the laptop from closing.

    Overall, does what it needs to do, but doesn’t overcome the design flaws inherent to the computers it is meant to connect to.

    Very convenient and minimalist – portable. HDMI jack is a real plus. A bit difficult to plug in and out of the laptop.
