It works exactly how I need it to and its made of metal so it feels really nice and matches perfect with my gray MacBook Air. I just wish it plugged in a bit more stable but you get that feature with a more expensive dongle.

I bought this for my iPad pro 3 as it was the first iPad to use the USB-C for not only charging but for external use. Plugged it in and the iPad didnt even blink. And nothing I attached to the ports (keyboard, mouse, flash drive) worked. So not sure if the docking station was bad, if the port on the iPad was bad, if the software wasnt up to snuff or the devices simply weret Mac compatible. Bottom line is not matter how I sliced it, this item simply didnt work for me. Hopefully you’ll have better luck

Way over priced i should of looked around online first. It fits loosely is not stable. I am not using it anymore, looks like it will ruin the c port on the apple with loose fit.

Got it for Christmas and is kool. The only set back is if you have a back shelf case it will not connect , you need to removed .

Dislike that Apple removed the ports in the first place so that you now need this on your Macbook, but, despite this, it works as intented. I like the piece that extends out into the headphone port to keep it properly in place.

Perfect little attachments. Photo shows the little Aux thingy but you can just retract it by design if not necessary so suits any laptop perfect. And also awesome to be the top of a ROG ALLY not just a laptop side!
