I used all the other brand in SQ installs and by FAR hush mat is the easiest to install material every put in. the sheets didn’t slice me like some of the other one and went right over every corner and bump in the metal. incredibe product and my system rocks. thank u Best Buy.

I’ve installed several different sound dampening products as an autotech, but this Hushmat is by far my absolute favorite material for sound dampening. It’s less likely to cut your fingers so you don’t need to wear gloves while using it.
And better yet is how easy it is to work with, it’s very pliable so you can mock up the shape of where it’s going and make the whole process easier.
The kit comes with a substantial amount of material, in my 2017 Toyota 86 I did the entire trunk, trunk lid, the entire rear quarter panels, underneath the rear seats, and just recently the entire cabin roof, I had already done the doors at a different point in time so I didn’t use the hushmat there. The sound response in the car is VERY tight.
Paired with a decent roller and a small pry tool for hard to reach corners, it’s very easy to install. Sound dampening is always labor intensive but I felt like I was flying through the installation with this stuff.
100% would recommend this, and in fact I’ll be pitching this product to any of my clients who are looking into sound treating their vehicles.
