    I was excited about the HP printer with smart tank. It was slow, very limited screen functionality and the ink rubbed right off glossy paper. The black ink was the worst i used on a glossy label. Everyone of the labels was rubbing right off.

    How can you review ink? Well, I guess you can’t really, but I will say that the printer that uses this ink is fantastic (HP Smart Tank Plus 551). So by association, this ink is fantastic, too. After years of buying cartridges for my dum-dum Epson, this is great. You can buy the color that’s running low and…that’s it. No more having to lock into buying a 4 pack and having extra yellow. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these types of printers and you, too, will love this ink.

    I use this with my Smart Tank 5101 model and it performs perfectly well. The ink prints out bold and crisp. The bottle design also makes it really easy and clean to refill the ink well. Nothing leaks out when you turn it upside down and ink only begins to flow into the well when the bottle clicks into place. One bottle of this is enough to refill the ink well twice. I have had a half-filled bottle sitting around for 6 months now and there is no worry of it drying out.
