DanielB –
Great turbo controler only complaint cant use wireless but it feels great in the hand for handheld mode. Which is its selling point
RobertB –
it a good Controller for Nintendo and PC… Good day!
Will –
The only complaint i would have is that you cannot usem the controllers disconnected from the screen + no feedback.
AngelT –
It is an excellent quality product and easy to use. Resistant and its design is comfortable for playability when using it.

Pros:
– Increased comfort for larger hands
– Nice tactile buttons
– Smooth joysticks
– Programmable rear buttons
– Grippy texture on the back of the controllers
Cons:
– Not wireless when disconnected from the switch
– Cheap feeling plastic
– Had trouble getting both controllers recognized when attached to the Switch
These are definitely not worth their $80 price tag, really neither are the official joycons, but at least the official joycons are wireless when disconnected. This could easily be a 4 or 5 star product for a lower price or if the pad worked as a wireless controller when disconnected from the switch.

Absolutely my favorite controller for the switch. I love that I can now play docked aswell as hand held. The turbo is a life saver for length dialog I’ve already been through and helping automate some Afk farming situations.
HelalA –
My son loves it thats all i could say if it was wirless it would bee better
SnoopDog –
You want that XBox controller feel for your Switch well times that by 2 and that is exactly what you will get, minus the vibration and gyro and amiibo and the very cool LED effects, oh and don’t forget about wireless (cause it ain’t got it). But at least it got turbo…. ‘Cause turbo is cool.

I have large hands and playing with the original switch joycons was a big hassle. I was on the verge of selling my switch because I couldn’t play for very long but the Hori controller helps a whole bunch!
I can finally sit and play Minecraft and Monster Hunter to my hearts content.
Hossway –
It’s good but sometimes loses connection when playing directly on the console
ToanT –
My son says “ it works better than the original ones”
Oscar –
I bought this item so I can have more comfort while playing in handheld. It definitely does the job, but I’d wait for a sale before buying. (I was impatient)
BackroomTroll –
This controller is acceptable. That’s about the strongest thing I feel toward it. There isn’t anything special about it that puts it above any other aftermarket Joycon. That said, it doesn’t necessarily fail anywhere either. Not being able to use it wirelessly is a drawback, but its size and shape more than make up for it. The lack of an nfc receiver was a non-issue for me personally. Buy it if Joycons are uncomfortable in handheld, and if you have the extra money.

I love these controllers. they are bigger and do you have more control as an adult. I also love all the features, including the turbo button and the customization. My only complaint is that I have no good way of transporting them because they don’t fit in my switch case.
I just bought another pair of controllers that are seemed for breath of the wild tears of the Kingdom.

Good product for the switch, however the paddle buttons can only be assigned to a button on that side of the controller e.g right paddle can only be assigned to the buttons like r3 a,b, you can change the assignment on the fly but it is still minorly annoying that right can only do right functions and left can only do left.
AndreaC –
Loved it use it so much so far no breakage! It was a great buy.
CarlosO –
It was easy to set up and over all good product, would definitely recommend people to buy it
Marse11e –
This is a good and durable joystick for your Switch. Not sure if its good for Super Smash Brothers but it’s durable for all other needs.
Lillitt –
The buttons squeak a little but the joysticks are great and my hands don’t cramp up anymore. Anyone that likes the switch but not a fan of it’s small controller should consider adding this their collection.
LuisG –
works really good, I love hori products and this is just what I wanted
Aaron –
What an awesome little handheld!
It feels so comfortable in my hand to use when attached to the switch in joycon mode and has made mobile gaming way more convenient!
I would say that the only reason it’s not 5 stars is that when it’s in controller mode and plugged in with USB I noticed just a slight delay between inputs and actions (I was playing Tunic so needing my character to dodge at the right moment is critical) though that only really affects games where timing is key.
Overall it’s great!!
JasonB –
These controls is how the Nintendo switch should have come.
DrHeadphone –
A nice way to make play time more enjoyable , comfortable and easy to use. not the cheapest accessory but worth it .
Unknown –
Very comfortable for my hands and I don’t have giant hands.
Xfactorfish12 –
Love this controller as an upgrade to the stock option provided with the switch dock
KellyH –
For thr price, i expected more. I liked the idea of not having to use those tiny controllers for the switch but realized how much i depend on the accelerometer for aiming or balancing in games. Maybe im missing the benefits of this controller because none of thr games i play need a turbo button which this has.
Zezima –
Buy this its great, feels so good in the hand.
Highly recommend
Kvelez –
It lightweight and works put of the box. Use usb cable to work in the docking, no need for battery.
Troy –
Wish it was bluetooth but still a good controller for people with big hands.
ProudClod –
The only way to get the wired grip for the Split Pad Pro units is through one of these $80 bundles that will probably include a split pad pro you’re not interested in (all the cool varieties just come with the joycon bits) which is a really weird way to market. Anyways, it’s functional but I 110% did not feel like I got my money’s worth for it. Just get the joycon and use them attached to the system, unless you need a big Xbox Duke-sized controller and don’t mind it being wired, this isn’t really necessary or valuable at all, aside from the high MSRP.
RobertKrake –
Great for people with bigger hands. I’ve been looking at this controller for about a year now. I finally bought it and couldn’t be happier. Great in portable mode and makes a great wired controller. Cord is extra long and the whole controller is well made. I use this daily. The only time I don’t use it is when I’m using one of my 8Bitdo controllers.
2fryguy –
This was the perfect replacement for the one my boys broke
Fillup626 –
So much better fit if you have bigger hands! Feels more secure than original controllers.
GregC –
Works great, much better than the little controllers the switch comes with. Specially if your a person with big hands.
Unknown –
Did not like controller if it was wireless I’d like it more and if it was a bit smaller I’d like it more
AlexasT –
Super needed! I’m a gamer who has smaller hands so this helps provide the grip and control I need. It does make your switch look bigger (like the steam deck kinda lol) but I like it
Nuggy –
Not a horrible set up. Definitely more comfortable than the standard joycons. Just doesnt have any vibration features. Nor amibo access. For the money there are better options. But again controller comfortability is very good. They dropped the ball not making it have vibration in my opinion.
Jesus –
My wife thinks these are great conpared to the detail joycons
SonnyT –
The controllers feel good in my hands, have some interesting extra features, and offer a massively improved D-pad. If you’re looking for a full-sized gamepad controller, need extra joystick precision, and want better directional buttons, the Split Pad Pro is a great choice.Mar 3, 2023
GamerDad –
My son plays a number of games on his Switch OLED, to include Fortnite, and loves the capability and customization of the rear buttons for each game.
teek –
Great gamepad, it works well separately and attached.
JMal90 –
Great controller works great and feels good in your hands.
ZacharyH –
Frankly, I’m just glad the darn thing works. I keep buying duds that I CANNOT get to connect to my switch no matter how hard I try. But the grip and the buttons do all feel “pro” in design.
Now if I can just get a functioning *wireless* controller, I’ll be set for life!
DevonC –
Awesome product. Makes playing on the switch more comfortable for hands
Izzy –
It was a gift for my son he loved it.he couldn’t believe it that i found one
Diaz777 –
Awesome Grandson likes it a lot easier for him to play and hold
LlIG –
It was during the holidays it was the last one left. It works great, but I prefer wireless
Soundbar –
Makes the switch feel, its made for grown ups too. The handle and comfort of the controllers makes gaming more enjoyable.
DavidG –
My boy loved it, makes the switch wider and the bottons are bigger
RicoL –
Bought this for my teenage son. So far he love it and it seems much more sturdy and durable than other brands.
