    Needed a solution for a laptop in a dormitory and came out with this . The safe can be pry open with a screwdriver due to its very thin construction lid

    Needed a fireproof container for important documents, and this is just what was needed. Large enough to hold a laptop (more than one actually) it has all the features needed at a very reasonable price.

    The person I gifted this item to was really happy to get it and feels it was a good buy. Had a little trouble with the directions but once it was figured out and set up, it was good. If you have MAJOR valuables, I would recommend something a little more heavy duty but for small stuff, it’s good.

    With the code or key, this will not stay locked. I have had this for less than 5 months. The knob turns to unlock regardless of the key in the locked position or if I purposely put in the code wrong. Nothing keeps it locked. This is worthless now. After researching the reviews of this item on other sites, this is somewhat of a common problem. Complete waste of money

    Shipping was fast. Received the safe with no dents or scratches. Safe seems to work good haven’t tested the fireproof abilities, but I’ll just take your word for it.

    Within the first 4 months the keypad stopped working and the lock no longer turns. You can lock and unlock it without using a code, you just turn the knob. Definitely does not give us peace of mind since we have kids.
