    Purchased the tv new in April. Worked great until this morning. Without warning the panel no longer displays anything but black and gray vertical bars. Tv has been on a stand in the living room untouched and unmoved since we purchased it. I have submitted a claim to Hisense, let’s see where that gets me.

    Received the TV with a bad remote control when I opened the box. hisense’s customer service refused to replace it and mentioned accessory’s warranty is only 90 days, although they mentioned their TV’s warranty is 1 year.

    Unbelievable! Bought this Hisense 55” Smart Roku TV last Black Friday (2022) and today (11/12/2023) is useless all I get is black and gray lines! So disappointing! 🙁

    It’s a great tv, especially if you aren’t a tech nerd or are picky about really unnoticeable things and still want a good, large but cheap TV. The biggest issue with the TV is that the sound is pretty bad on it relative to a sound bar, so I’d recommend getting one if the sound is disappointing and it’ll fix the TV’s biggest issue (most TVs have bad sound compared to sound bars anyways). Another small gripe is that the remote is very picky about where you point it for the buttons to work. You have to actually point it at the bottom right of the TV, and I sometimes have to life my hand up a bit from my couch to get it to work, but only if there’s a lot of things crowding my TV stand. This is more of a nitpick and not really a deal breaker though.

    The picture quality is great and the 55 inch size is perfect. The sound does a weird thing every once in a while but it’s easily fixable by unplugging and plugging again. The price is unbeatable.

    It has been great so far. I was able to eliminate using two remotes that we needed with older non smart TV. I also attached a roku enabled soundbar and it was so easy. I highly recommend.

    I started having issues with this TV mid Nov. I called Hisence #, they said it was a Roku issue, called them, very rude and unprofessional. We did the whole factory reset 2 times. TV still freezes, repeats Chanel’s, lost the voice at on point.I even called my Internet provider and my service is fine ended up paying $150.00 I bought this TV on Nov. 1 , 1 month today and I plan on going into Best Buy to see what they suggest.MODLE#55R6G SN 55N22512WH01878

    This does not have 120hz capability and is only 60hz. It is being advertised as 120hz. So either Best Buy are being scammers, or the manufacturer is misleading you. This is not 120hz read the specs.
