the knives are very nice and the built in sharpener for each knife in the block is pretty awesome too. The only thing i don’t like is how deep the block is, it almost reaches the counter edge. We had to move it to a deeper section of the counter top.

Amazing knives, they are exactly what I was looking for. They are very sharp the block is beautiful as are the knives themselves! We do a lot of cooking in our house and a good knife is a vital tool. This set meets those needs with a variety of knives for each task. Easily a 10/10

Loved these knives @ the start then I noticed they started to get rust stains on them. The next problem they began to develop was peeling of the handles. Look like crap now, plan to check with Zwilling to see how warranty holds up. I don’t think I would buy this particular set again doesn’t seem to hold up for the long haul of approximately 2yrs.

These are sharp knives and the sharper in the block keeps them sharp. The two issues i have are the handles can be slick if you have just a little bit of moisture on your hands. Also the grey finish has started to peel off. We hand wash each of them but it is still peeling.

Love the knives and block, but they rusted after just one dishwash! The details say dishwasher safe, but they spotted immediately after the first run on the blades. Very disappointed that we now have to hand wash these after double checking they were dishwasher safe. Beautiful design and super sharp.

My initial impression upon opening the box was: Where am I going to put this enormous knife block? It takes up a lot of counter space.
As a general rule for knives integrity, you should not wash sharpened knives in the dishwasher. However, I did try it once, and the handles started to look scratched, and the cutting edge became less sharp.
Another thing I noticed is that if you handwash the knives and don’t dry them properly, rust spots will appear on the blade by the second day. I didn’t expect that.
In general, they look great when new. If you want to keep them in good condition, you need to dry them properly and avoid using a dishwasher.
