  • Compatible with all Nextbase dash cameras
    The Nextbase dash camera hardwire kit offers a simple plug-and-play solution to hardwire in any Nextbase dash cameras. Works with 12-24V outlets for car or truck installations.
  • Built-in minimum voltage limiter
    If fitted to a permanent live supply, it will protect the vehicle’s battery from going flat. When on a switched live supply, the dash camera will power on and start recording automatically when the car starts.
  • LED indicator light
    Show when the dash camera is connected, and power is available.
  • Hardwire kit
    Contains all the components to piggyback from a fuse box for vehicles with either standard ATO/C or smaller ATM (mini) fuses. This provides the dash camera with its own power supply, eliminating the need to use a 12V outlet (car cigarette socket).

    Bought two of these, one for each car. Unfortunately I didn’t verify the amperage requirements of my dashcam prior to installing and one requires more than this hardwire kit can deliver.

    It’s a great camera, good resolution. The rear camera does go into night mode during the day. Not sure why but it still records perfectly. The sticker used to hold it onto the window falls off constantly. I ditched the tape and used a different mount. Worked out great, no more falling down. Good camera, decent price.

    Works great for my vantrue dashcam just be aware that you may need additional mini fuses depending on vehicle

    Not compatible with the fuses in my car. I drive a 2013 Toyota Corolla LE. The fuse adapter is longer than my fuses so the fuse won’t sit in the adapter and the adapter won’t plug all of the way in. My Nextbase dash cam won’t function on the power form the cigarette lighter outlet and I had hoped hardwiring it would help.

    Worth the small price to hide the wires. Comes with multiple fuse sizes to work with almost ever car imaginable. Long wire length as well.
