With the very fist boiling the kettle leaks water onto the base, will be returning.

The kettle leaked water onto the base after the very first boil. Rather dangerous since the base is where the electrical connectors are. Maybe I just received a bad one, but I would not try to buy it again.

this hot water kettle is great, heats up within minutes and it also has a screen for hard water sediment…I love it…

Heats up really fast. The top doesn’t open 90 degrees to the container, so it’s a little weird adding the water from the fridge. Works well, needs to be cleaned often.

It boils fast, but leaks water into base and into the on/off switch. And, it appears as though the auto-shutoff feature is not working. Need to return, appears to be a safety hazard.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the lid sticks slightly so simply pressing the button on top does not work, you also have to pull the lid up. This may only be the case for the one I bought and is only a small annoyance – perhaps not worth losing a whole star. In all the kettle is working well for now.

I bought this product and was excited i noticed the first time i used it, it tasted like chemicals. I returned it and got another one and that one also tasted like chemcials 🙁

Thought traditional stove top was the only true way to heat water. Our ancestors used fire made me think I had to use fire. I’m happy to join the 21st century with with electrified countertop no fire or gas, water warming tea kettle. I also use it for ramen 🙂

When the water was boiled, it smelled of chemicals/metals. Threw out this kettle and now purchasing a different one.
