Amazing –
When played the 30fps is noticeable but the the story hooks you, no matter which character you choose or the story ark (out of 4) you choose they are great. So dont listen to metacritic or ign try it out yourself and make up your opinion. Also this is a complete reboot, this NOT RELATED TO THE ARKHAM GAME OR “ARKHAM VERSE”

Gotham Knights is a lot of fun, but the controls need a little fine tuning.

Gotham Knights succeeds in setting itself apart from the Arkham series, however it’s not always a good thing. While this is the most detailed, populated Gotham City yet the traversal mechanics leave something to be desired. Combat is a little awkward but the enemy varies great. The overall story is good with some great Easter eggs, but it losses it’s way in the final act as well as often succumbing to melodrama. Still, if you’re a Batman/DC Comics Dan you will enjoy your time with Gotham Knights.

Definitely a change up from previous Batman games in a cool refreshing way,4 distinct characters and drop in/out co-op. Gameplay was a pain at first, but recent updates have helped with framrate and other launch issues. Overall a good play through solo or with someone.

I’ve only played the first couple hours, and so far excited about the gameplay and variability you get switching between characters. Great for any Batman fan. The only reason I am giving it 4 starts instead of 5 is b/c I’m disappointed that the storyline wasn’t tied in directly with Arkham series which is what I was hoping for. Still a good stand alone game. Only other critique would be frame rate and mechanics with vehicle travel. The Bat Bike was poorly executed.

The campaign is so predictable! And full of unnecessary back and forth. The side bosses you face have no purpose related to the story going on. And why is only 3 🙁 no cameos no suprises just defeat crimes and thats it! You would think with the different characters you can play as there rogues would be included or something. Idk maybe im just famboying! I do like the character customization as in unlocking loot to always be getting better suits/weapons but towards the end on your game it just get repetitive! “Oh cool i can craft a new suit, that looks exactly like my last suit but now has + 10 damage -_-“ i love all the batman games from the past but this on just isnt it!

A visually gorgeous Batman game, especially on the PS5 and XSX. That features his 4 sidekick characters (after his alleged death at the beginning of the game) that fails to port over the previously top quality combat system from the last 3 Batman titles. Recommendation: Buy this only if it’s for sale at a lower price.

I got this on black friday for 50% off. Otherwise i wouldn’t have purchased it. Its an alright game, but very time consuming so that you can see all the character endings. However, the gameplay is repetitive and drags towards the end. Good purchase on sale, otherwise just wait.
