    I upgraded from the old tripod to this so like the quick change so I can connect to this or my other mounts fast. It also swivels and locks in position so any angle can be achieved. Was a good upgrade

    I bought this tripod for a trip, I have several tripods, but I think this is the best, because of the size and the way it can be stored, it is very easy to carry it everywhere, since it is very light.

    The stick itself with compact folding sections and tripod base was a good start but the design for attaching your GoPro itself is terrible. It requires the snap-in base inserts, which are bulky and a pain to remove & install. Makes no sense at all. Why not use a streamlined, thumbscrew mount like on every other highly rated stick? And to put the snap-mount on a proprietary ball so it can’t be easily swapped, very disappointing.

    When removing the product from the box the ball joint would not lock in. I call GoPro to report the problem. They immediately shipped out a new 2.0, I am just waiting to receive. It was a great customer service experience. The product itself looks to be extremely functional. I can’t wait to use it.

    The tripod function doesn’t support the weight of my go pro hero 9 when it is extended a few inches from center but as a selfie stick it’s does exactly what I need it to do!
