    Starts off in traditional JRPG games where you are a young man in a 2D world clicking through text bubbles.

    Teaches you how to play step by step as you advance. Reminds me of the old Sega Genesis games.

    I love the fact that it is portable and can be resumed whenever you have some time to spare.

    This game consistent two of best things I enjoy, golf and role-playing games. The game is like a traditional rpg, but the combat is in a form of golfing.

    You play the guy who decided to try his luck in going pro as a golf player.

    There’s a lot of adult references that make the game unique and interesting. Your marriage is on the rocks. The characters you encounter are funny. I am surprised good the game is.

    There are several rivals you run into. There are side missions such as a flying a drone and frisbee golf. The important people you need to talk with will have the comic bubble on their heads so you know who to interact with instead of running around lost like some RPGs.

    Classic 2D RPG style golf game. Reminds me of a standard nintento game from the original console in terms of graphics and gameplay. Fun play if you enjoy golf and old school RPG type games.

    This is a nice exclusive for the switch with an interesting take on a golf game. The story is fun but I do wish you could fine tune the golf strokes a little more. It’s not supposed to be sim though so just enjoy it for the fun that it is.

    I bought this before a trip and played it the majority of the time. It was a lot of fun, simple mechanics but the story and characters all have lots of charm.

    I heard great things about this game and I love the retro look of the game, but it doesn’t really give you any sort of direction on what or where to go to find the missions. I felt I spent more time looking up what to do next than what I was playing

    The gameplay, when you play it, is great.

    I like the concept of a sports RPG. The style and humor make it great. The nolstagia style is great paying homage to old school RPGs. Something different for hardcore RPGers.

    Golf Story has been an interesting and fun experience. I bought it because I was craving a golf game and with PGA Tour 2K21 not out yet I saw this on sale. It is more reminiscent of the old PGA Tour game from the early 1990’s with the power bar and very basic information on reading the greens which is more art than science in this game. There are plenty of challenges to take on in addition to just playing a round of golf. These challenges range in difficulty and skill needed to complete and add a nice mix of activities to get you to keep playing.

    Good little game funny writing, not a bad sized adventure maybe about 10 hours. If you like simple sports games especially golf go for it.
