    This is the ultimate way to play Sega Genesis Classic games.
    The game’s front end menu is perfect. It’s almost as if you’ve gone back in time to the 80s/90s and are plugging the game into your Sega Genesis. The game is full of options and settings that you can adjust to your liking like the aspect ratio, you can play the games in original 4:3 or you can stretch it to widescreen. You can put filters over the video to mimic an old CRT TV, or you can sharpen the pixels to give it a more HD-ified look. I love this game and the collection of games is perfect. I especially recommend Shining Force 1 and 2 if you haven’t played them. They are absolute hidden gems. Buy this game for your collection or to relive the classics!

    If you played video games in the early 90’s, then you played most of these games! Picture perfect, lots of fun and I was able to introduce my son to these classics! These games are replay friendly and the fact that you can save states to pick up later on the Switch just cements it – get it now!

    Welcome back to being a kid again. These games play very smoothly and take you back to your childhood. Being able to rewind the games is helpful for some of those tough levels that you may not have been able to beat as kid. The wife and I have spent several nights have a great time playing this.

    Bought this as a way to own and play Phantasy Star II – IV and the Shining Force JRPG’s. Played a bit of Shining Force and Phantasy Star II and they played fantastic. Love having the quality of life features (save states, rewind and fast forward, visual preferences, etc).

    Being able to have these to play on my Switch is more than enough for me. Glad to have it in my collection!

    It’s much more than just a collection of retro games. It’s a nostalgia simulator. Instead of some plain main menu that you can click into each game from, the main menu is a bedroom with all the 50+ games lined up on a shelf that you click on to put the cartridge inside the Genesis. You get to change the bedroom settings to pick the time of day. You can customize the TV screen. The room is decorated with some novelty items from the games. I had a Sega Genesis 3 and didn’t have a ton of games as a kid, but almost all of the ones I did have are on here. I still have my console and games, and they work, but they’re in fragile condition, and I don’t want to risk breaking them by playing with them. This Switch game solves that issue.

    I think it would be best to play with a Genesis controller for the Switch. I play with a wireless Switch controller, and I can’t seem to get a hang of the button placements from one game to the next. Nevertheless, it is very fun to revisit some of my favorite childhood games and to also try out “new” ones that I never had, all wrapped up in one affordable game.

    This is a wonderful compilation of classics from my childhood. It is an absolute joy to have it in my collection. The game’s emulator does, however, seem to be a bit laggy with a slightly low response time.
