  1. JKinSYR

This is a really nice stand mixer with the basics of exactly what I needed for being a weekend home baker. It’s really nice to look at with its granite gray and stainless steel look. This mixer mixes the ingredients really well and also helps to make my baking process easier.

Included with this stand mixer are a 5.3 Quart Bowl which is made from stainless steel and seems to hold quite a bit of ingredients. Easy to attach and lock in components such as the wire whisk, coated flat beater, coated dough hook, and the bowl with handle locks into the base to stay secure. There are 7 speed settings so you can easily find your desired mixing setting for whatever mixing adventure you’re preparing. I felt the ease of use and operating this mixer was easy to do and convenient. This is my first stand mixer and the tilting head design that locks into place is convenient to allow for easily adding ingredients and pulling the bowl in/out. The motor on this appliance is a 350 watt motor that seemed to do a great job on making some cookie mix, brownie mix, and cake mix so far. Also to ensure complete mixing of all the ingredients the GE mixer has a 59 point mixing cycle which encircles the bowl thoroughly and completely to mix up all the ingredients into your bowl properly. Added bonus for me was the peace of mind I have when the mixer is moving pretty fast, that there is an included bowl splash guard to help keep the mixture of the ingredients within the bowl and less on my counter and walls.

I really like the classy looks and it makes the kitchen counter look fancier in our home. Home bakers like myself will enjoy this as I have been whipping up some bakery treats with my child for after school snack time.

    PRO:
    Great style and looks
    Powerful motor
    Easy to operate

This is my first stand mixer and so far I’m happy to have it.

    Build –

The tilt head pivots and locks into place easily. The included mixing heads are easy to attach as well as remove and clean. The bowl is an adequate size and locks into the base firmly. The overall build quality is very solid and the finish looks great and is easy to wipe down.

    Function-

In short, it works great! Whisking egg whites to peaks in this mixer is by far superior to having to use a hand mixer. Kneeding pizza dough was a breeze and it produced very a consistent texture. The only thing that I wasn’t really expecting was that mixing thinner batters (i.e. Pancakes) takes a little longer than mixing by hand. The first time I tried making pancakes the batter looked mixed but I soon realized that there was still flour on bottom of the bowl. Allowing the mixer to run a couple of minutes longer on a slightly higher speed seemed to do the trick. I minor annoyance if your short on time but the convenience and ability to multi-task make up for that. I have also seen batter mixing blades with silicone tips that would likely speed up the process. I have not been able to test the attachment port yet but I believe it will be more than capable and the limit would be the attachment itself. I am looking forward to making my own blend for burgers with a grinder attachment.

I am very pleased with this mixer and I am excited to try out new attachments to make the experience even better.

  3. Crashphoenix

This GE stand mixer is better than I expected, especially with all the other competition out there. The dough hook works well for making bread and pizza dough. This mixer has enough power to make pretty much any type of dough you want, no matter how tough or unyielding it may be. It’s surprisingly quiet. 7 speeds instead of the 10 you see on others, however 10 on this machine would be overkill. The 7 different speeds is more than enough. In addition to doughs, it makes lovely meringue.
3rd party attachments fit and work well. With a grinder attachment you cna make homemade ground meats- Beef, pork, poultry, game meats, etc. Plenty of power to run it. You can even make sausage. A 3rd party spiralizer also works well on this for making veggie noodles.
The GE mixer is surprisingly heave at nearly 20 pounds, but that keeps it from moving around when the mixing bowl is unbalanced.
It’s well built enough you could probably use it every day for years.
The main complaint is the whisk has plastic for attaching it on the mixer. My concern is it may break over time.
There’s a depression in the bottom of the mixing bowl that doesn’t seem to always get hit by the beaters, leaving some of what you’re mixing on the bottom and dry. It’s not much, but it is annoying.
I’d still recommend this mixer. It’s easy to use, just the right size and perfect for all the things you could use a stand mixer for.

  4. Jp223

This is my first mixer to own and I have to say its been a pleasant experience to use. Traditionally I’ve mixed most things manually and have always wanted a less tiring and tedious way of doing that. This GE mixer has exceeded my expectations for just that.

The mixer is a high quality from the second you open the box, and quite heavy. The color is neutral, not too flashy, which I think will be a good fit for most kitchens. First things on my list to try out with this mixer was mashed potatoes and brownies. I guess I’m not familiar with how wattage motor strength compares for mixers, but this 350 watt motor didn’t look phased at all while mixing and mashing. For a newbie such as myself, its was straight forward and easy to use. The knob controls the 7 speeds, the arm level lock lifts the unit up, and attachments go on super easy. The bowl, being stainless steel, is easy to clean and locks into place with a slight turn. It can be put in the dishwasher along with the whisk attachment, but the other parts need to be hand washed. The bowl is also 5.3 quarts which seems to be plenty large for my needs. The bowl lid is a nice addition as it helps prevent splatter and provides an easy way to add ingredients without having to lift the mixing head or even stop the mixing.

Next on the list is making dough for some homemade bread and I look forward to that experience. Overall it runs well, fairly quiet for having strong motor, and is easy to clean and manage. I’d recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a mixer.

  5. KDizzle

This is a great stand mixer for anyone looking to purchase on. I have been looking into buying a stand mixer for a while and was having a hard time deciding which one to get. Here is why I decided on the GE Stand Mixer.

    1. Price: I am a home cook who only cooks for myself and my family. I was having trouble justifying spending a ton of money on a mixer. With this one, i felt like I was getting the most bang for my buck where I didn’t feel like I was compromising on quality for the sake of price.

    2. Size: The GE Stand mixer has a smaller footprint than some of the other mixers out there but this one gave me the size mixing bowls I wanted without taking up all my counter space. I also liked the color but many come in stanless steel so it wasn’t a pro or con.

    3. Options: This stand mixer is compatible with a huge number of third party accessories so that i am not limited to certain ones. I can find accessories for just about any cooking project I can think of so I feel like it adds to the value.

  6. MTCowboy

The GE Stand Mixer is a solid entry into their kitchen counter-top line but suffers from a few fit-and-finish issues.
The unit has a nice heft and the stainless mixing bowl includes a plastic protective cover with a port that allows you to add ingredients while the mixer is running in a safe and convenient manner. The unit is well balanced so tipping the mixer motor back is easy and feels stable. I also prefer the speed dial to the competitors’ “stick shift”. The motor seems to have sufficient power but runs a little louder than I expected.
My concern is related to the mixing wisk, paddle and bread hooks. They appear to be made of pot metal and look like they aren’t going to last that long. The paddle and bread hook also lack the vinyl coating that I am accustomed to. I have had problems in the past with putting similar items in the dishwasher as they seem prone to “pitting” so I will be hand washing these.
In spite of these concerns I would still recommend that any potential buyers include this on their short list because the price is very good and GE is a reputable manufacturer.

  7. Mike777VSP

When I knew I was going to receive this GE Stand Mixer, I was a little reluctant, I have (had) another “top named brand” stand mixer, that I was very pleased with, however, it had began to “have a brown – gear oil type fluid” leaking from the rear of the main housing. I was reluctant because I wondered would this be able to meet those same expectations of my other mixer.

Boy was I impressed with this product. First of all, GE does a wonderful job of packaging this product, and I am stickler for packaging, my thought process is if a company invests the time and money in packaging their product, that product will be worth the money. This stand mixer was very well protected in the box it is contained in w/ no wasted space.

Now as far as how it works, again, I was impressed. It comes w/ three attachments, beater, dough hook, and whisk. To this point in our review we have not had the opportunity to use the bread hook, but if it works as well as the other two, it will be fine. The only think I don’t like as well w/ this mixer as opposed to the one it replaced, is the beater is substantially smaller. But what it lacks in size it makes up in design. We used it to mix up a cake for our grandson, and it is very, very powerful. I love the design of this stand mixer’s bowl lid far better than the other brand, its opening and the way its designed (not as tall) it allows you to pour ingredients into the mixer w/ out spilling or having the contents in the mixer come out.

The whisk made easy work of the whipped cream that we iced his cake w/, and it actually worked better than the other higher priced model/brand. And both clean up easily in hand wash (beater) or in the dishwasher (whisk). Again, I haven’t had the opportunity to use the included dough hook.

One of the features that I truly enjoy on this GE Mixer is the lock lever that locks the “head” of the mixer in the up position, and it will stay there until you release the lock lever and lower the head down. It also helps when you are placing the attachment on the output shaft, you don’t have to worry about the mixer falling on you as our older model had a habit of doing.

My wife likes the fact that the aesthetics of this stand mixer practically matches our other stainless steel applicants that we own. It also helps that our refrigerator, downdraft stove/oven are GE products as well, I have been impressed w/ this company for a long time.

If you want/need a really impressive stand mixer, don’t hesitate in purchasing this GE version.

  8. Oldskool

Out of the box, the mixer has a great look and soild heft to it. Seems very well built. Comes with a dough hook, wisk, beater, bowl and bowl splash guard. Packaging is simple and well thought out.
After a good cleaning it was time to bake. Recipe number one was a carrot cake. Right off the bat I like that the mixer head flips back. After running though, and this was the star ding, its super difficult getting ingredients between the miking bowl and the mixer head. There really isn’t much room at all. The splash guard has a fill slot but its so small that it realy is more inconvenient. I feel like more R&D should have caught that. Maybe a updated bowl with a slight spout or wider front would have alleviated that issue.
Lock lever is easy to use and caused zero issues. Bowl and miking attachments are coated nicely and make clean up super simple. They also attach very easily. The spped control knob was simple to use and very responsive. Look and finish are nice enough to keep out on the counter or store away. Storage wise, its nice that all the attachments fit into the bowl for storage.
One last thing to mention is that its a pretty quiet mixer. I dont have a db meter but it didn’t seem very loud to us.
A cord keeper of some type would have been convenient but didnt warrant a loss of stars, thats more of a personal preference.

  9. JKhan

The title says it all. Sturdy and durable, this mixer has everything I need and then some.
Upon opening, the first thing I notice is the build. From the bowl, to the lid and all the attachments, everything is quality. In comparison to other mixers I have used, this feels up-to-par for a fraction of the usual cost.
Setup was straightforward and within minutes we were mixing up a batch of “dirt pudding” for Earth Day. Consistency of ingredients were smooth and even with no issues on speed variance.
I’ve whipped eggs and cream. Perfect. My favorite thus far has been mashed sweet potatoes. Once again, perfect consistency.
All pieces are easy to clean, and with the easy open hinge, dismantling and storing is a non issue. I haven’t been able to try an extra attachments, but I appreciate that GE took the steps to make the attachment slot universal. Being able to use other brand’s fun attachments is a great added feature.
Great power with a good variation of speeds and attachments would definitely have me recommending it to others. This is a quality machine.

This is my first stand mixer. I’ve always wanted one, but could never bring myself to pay $300-$500 for a stand mixer. This one is a great price and has a bowl lid, beater, whisk, and dough hook included in the package. There is no set-up as the stand mixer was ready to go straight out of the box.
This mixer is very easy to use. After pulling in, select to accessory that you want to use. Beater, Dough hook, or Whisk. I used the beater for a cake which turned out very well. I also used the whisk for whipping cream.
The mixer has a speed dial that numbers 0-7. 0 is off and 7 is high speed. The cake mix that I used suggested medium speed, therefore I set the dial to 4.
When I used the mixer for whipping cream, I started at 4 and worked up to 7. Worked great for this. The whipped cream was delicious!
Clean up was a breeze. Although most of the accessories are hand wash only, it only took a tiny amount of time to clean them up. The mixer itself is clean by wiping with a wet cloth. Highly recommend!

Looks – It is compact and will fit easily in any corner of your kitchen counter without occupying too much space.
It is not too heavy and you will be able to move it back and forth to adjust it accordingly while you are using it.

User friendly – It is pretty easy to use. The lock/unlock buttons are not neither too tight nor too flimsy.
The attachments can be easily fixed to the knob and removed without much hassle.

Parts – There is a lid with a small opening which is supposed to help you to add things inside the mixer while not letting the ingredients fly out when the mixer is on. But I did not see much use in this as the opening is not positioned right. While the blades are moving, it restricts you from adding ingredients inside the mixer. So I had to take the lid/covering off and add the ingredients directly into the bowl. I had to ensure to reduce the speed of the mixture while adding other ingredients. Whisk is pretty good. It beats the ingredients pretty well and seems to be sturdy too. I had to beat about 6 eggs for my cake until the mixture got foamy. The whisk did a pretty good job and gave me the right consistency I was looking for. It works well in low, medium and high speeds.
Paddle attachment works well on high speed. But on low speed, it hardly churns or mixes the ingredients. Some recipes demand for the ingredients to be mixed on low speed.
It might be a challenge to use the paddle attachment on low speed as it coats all the ingredients to the sides of the bowl and just keeps rotating in the middle of the bowl. But on high speed it does the job right. I made butter cream frosting for my cake and it started out slow as I had to stop and scrape the sides of the bowl every now and then while running it on low speed. But once I could get it to high speed it worked well.

Dough hooks seem to be of good quality. They also work well from medium-high speed but on low speed the same batter which gets mixed initially keeps getting churned constantly while the remaining dough gets mixed only if the speed is increased. The mixing bowl is sturdy and deep enough to hold a good amount of ingredients. However it would be more useful if there was an additional bowl provided with the set. Most of the recipes have more than one part to it. Different ingredients might be required to be beaten separately for the same recipe. Under such situations having just one bowl makes it a cumbersome process to finish one part, wash the bowl, dry it and use it for the next part and repeat.

Speed – There are up to 8 levels of speed. I did not have to go through till the highest level for the maximum speed I needed for beating the ingredients. Speed is pretty good from medium-high. But for low speeds, especially the first 2, it is as good as keeping the beater at 0. For low speed you will have to go up to at least ‘3’ to get the job done.

  12. AlphaTech

This GE stand mixer is great. It is nice and compact for storage and very simple to use. It comes with some mixing attachments, a lid for the bow with a hole big enough to pour your ingridients in with out the fear of ir splashing out. It is very simple to clean. It does have an auto shut off just incase you forget to turn it off. However the granite gray is very nice color, the bow is not excessively large so it is great for those smaller baking needs. It is very simple to use as it is just a turn of a knob. It is very nicely packed and very secure. It does have the extra front port for additional attachements such as a pasta maker. I am overall very satified with this mixer amd it is the perfect size. The top portion lifts up to make it easy to get the mixing bowl out. So if you are in the market for a small enough yet powerful mixer thia would be a great choice for your kitchen, and you should not have an issue finding a great storage place for the times you do not use it. It would be nice if it came with additional items but like i said i am very satified.

  13. NoNameNick

The GE stand mixer is a well-built, heavy duty machine ready to take on your best recipes.

The mixer arrived securely packaged, and the first thin I noticed was the weight of the box. Unboxing revealed a sleek silver cast aluminum machine, that feels very solid. the attachments and bowl also appear well made and have a solid feel.

Preparing for first use was just a quick wash of the bowl and attachments with soap and water, and a wipe down of the rest of the machine with a damp cloth. The top then easily tilts back and attachments are inserted with a push up and quarter turn. The bowl locks to the base in a similar fashion, by just indexing the pins and a slight twist to secure.

The first thing we tried was whipped cream. We installed the whisk, added our heavy cream, vanilla, and sugar, and gradually increased speed to high (7). The speed knob feels substantial, and gives a satisfying click for each setting. The motor accelerates smoothly and quickly whipped our cream into fluffy goodness ready to top a key lime pie.

Next we did a heavier cake batter. Again the mixer handled it without a hiccup, and mixed the batter to perfect, smooth consistency. The thicker batter had no noticeable effect on the speed of the mixer. I was hoping to try a bread recipe before posting this, but time got away from me… but I cant imagine any drop off in performance.

One note. The instructions use the words attachment and accessory in a way that can lead to some confusion. Everything that comes in the box attaches to the bottom of the mixer head, and the “attachment release” is not used with any of them.

Other than the slightly confusing instructions, I thin GE has designed a beautiful product, and I don’t hesitate to recommend it.

The GE stand mixer is a granite gray color with chrome accents. It is model number G8MSAAS1RSH. It comes well packaged with the following: mixer, dough hook, whisk, beater, stainless steel bowl, pouring shield, user manual and warranty registration information (see picture). I recommend reading the manual before you operate the mixer. I found the mixing chart; and, care and cleaning sections most helpful. It is a smart looking unit being gray with chrome accents. It is solidly built with a max of 350 watts.

I wanted to do a good test of the mixer. I have a recipe for whipped shortbread that is tough on mixers. You start by whipping butter (see pictures). Blend ingredients and then mix on high for about 13 – 15 minutes. One challenge I have with this recipe is the batter climbing the sides of the bowl. This bowl performed well and I did not have as much of an issue as with my other mixer. The mixer shuts off after 10 minutes as a safety measure. You just turn the dial to 0 and then to the desired speed to get mixing again. The mixer was warm but not as warm as my previous mixer. The 350 watts make it operate smoothly.

The following are some features worth noting:
    – The GE mixer is 350 watts compared to my other mixer at 275 watts.
    – The bowl has a handle. My previous one did not.
    – A pouring shield is provided. My other mixer does not have one.
    – The bowl is 5.3 quarts. This is larger than my previous bowl (see picture).
    – GE products are always top quality in my experience. I have a number of GE products and they have served me well.
    – At the time of writing this review, the mixer was $199. This is a good deal compared to other mixers.
    – The GE mixer has 7 speeds using a dial on the base section. My other mixer has 10 speeds using a lever on the top section. I personally like the dial more.
    – The arm lock lever works well. It locks in both the down and up position.
    – The GE mixer is 4 pounds lighter than my other mixer.
    – 10 minute safety shut off. You turn the dial to 0 and keep going if you need to (I did). It is a safety measure to prolong the life of the unit.

In conclusion, I really like this mixer and I recommend it. Especially at $199 you cannot go wrong. I rate this GE mixer 5 out of 5 stars.

I recently purchased a GE air fryer toaster oven and I was quite impressed with it’s looks and performance. It performed much better than a far more expensive air fryer toaster that I was using at the time so I thought I would give their stand mixer a try.

As you unpack the stand mixer you instantly realize the build quality is great. Included in the box are the dough hook, wire whisk beater and flat beater. The mixing bowl is a spacious 5.3 qt size and includes a a splash shield in the box. The great thing about this mixer is that it can be locked in the up or down position and the lock is spring loaded so there is no need to lock it in place which makes one handed use a breeze. The powerful 350 watt motor was more than adequate to tackle my pizza dough recipe which can’t be said about my current stand mixer. It is important to read the manual to see what max speed you should use based on what you are mixing. You never want to use too fast off a speed that may put extra strain on the motor. One feature of the mixer that I Iove is that all speeds have a soft start setting so no matter what speed you use the mixer will ramp up to the set speed. The accessory port allows you to use 3rd party attachments so you are not stuck buying all new attachements for the GE. I have used my spiralizer attachment for my previous mixer and it worked great. Unfortunately for my other mixer the GE stand mixer has far exceeded my expectations and has been placed on the counter for daily use.

I would definitely recommend the GE stand mixer for anyone looking to purchase one.

  16. Jack

The GE stand mixer is a great kitchen appliance that does its job in a very satisfying manner. Even though there are more “popular” products out there that a lot of people vouch for, I found this GE mixer can do similar things with the same capability.

The first thing I noticed is how well-built this is. GE went with a “traditional” design, and thus it has a large footprint and carries a lot of heft. However, that also means when using it, the mixer is very stable. In a kitchen environment I’ll always take an all metal appliance instead of a slick plastic one.

The accessories that come with it covers all the regular operation I need – both the dough hook and the flat beater are coated, so cleaning them is quite easy. A wire whisk is there too. The quite large 5.3-qt stainless steel bowl has a handle, and can be locked in place to the mixer base. The locking is not as tight as I’d prefer, but it gets the job done. A plastic bowl splash guard with an integrated feed port makes life easier in some cases – this is the only flimsy part I found in the entire package. One good thing is that an accessory port in the front is compatible with 3rd party attachments.

The controls are fairly straight-forward. The tilt-head locks into place in both up and down condition, and when unlocked the head can be moved with one-hand which is super convenient. A single dial controls the 350-W motor in 7 steps. For my needs so far I haven’t pushed past 4 though.

The “mixing” operation is smooth – the motor seems to work fine with mixing and egg whisking work, and the slow-speed dough making was done perfectly. The motor is not the quietest out there, but it’s not deafening by any means. As I mentioned before, the mixer is very stable.

Cleaning up is not that hard – only the bowl and the whisk are dishwasher safe. Everything else needs to be hand washed/cleaned. The beater, even though it’s coated, is sometimes a bit engaging to clean.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the GE stand mixer. It’s simple to use, and churns through whatever is thrown at it with ease. The large dimension and weight maybe something that needs to matched with the overall kitchen aesthetics, but for me it fit’s in nicely with my other appliances.

I’ve wanted a stand mixer for awhile but other similar products on the market like Kitchen Aid can be quite pricey compared to this alternative. Other mixers are also quite bulky and this one is a bit smaller and better for people who are working with less counter top space.
This mixer has a 5.3 quart metal mixing bowl and has the tilt head lock feature so you can easily add ingredients while baking. There are seven speed settings so it’s great for all types of cooking or baking. The grey style is perfect for any kitchen design as it matches with stainless steel or black appliances. It’s also compatible with different attachments so you can make the most out of your mixer. The box also includes: the mixing bowl, a dough hook, a wire whisk, a flat beater, and a pouring shield to avoid messes.
I found it extremely easy to use and it’s effective for things like fluffing egg whites or baking doughs.
It has a ‘soft start’ function on every mixing speed so you don’t have to worry about flour poofing out or liquids spinning out of the bowl.
The build is sleek and sturdy so it’s great for even the clumsiest of cooks.

Last March, I bought the Hamilton Beach 63390 on sale. For awhile, I thought the Hamilton Beach would last me a long time because it handle easily bread dough, cake batter, and egg whites. After a year, the motor in my Hamilton Beach stopped working.

For my new stand mixer, I wanted it to be durable. I heard Kitchen aids have a good reputation for lasting a long time. I searched the retail price for a Kitchen aid, it’s too expensive. So I decided to look into other stand mixers that could match Kitchen aid in quality. The two stand mixers came the closet: Cuisinart and GE. I choose GE because I like how sleek and classy this stand mixer looks.

I will admit when I first started using GE stand mixer, I thought about returning it back to Amazon. My second thoughts didn’t have anything to do with GE stand mixer because it is very good machine. I needed some time to reassure myself that GE is just as good as Kitchen aid. In fact, GE is great at tackling pie crusts, cookie batter, and bread dough. I only have to scrape the bowl once during use. Another bonus is the bowl and attachments clean quickly with a few scrubs. Overall, I’m really impressed with this purchase. I’m definably not returning my GE to Amazon anymore!

Here is what I would recommend for General Electric moving forward with their stand mixers:

    1) Replace the plastic hub with a metal one on the whisk attachment

    2) Offer a larger variety of color options

    3) Produce additional attachments

    4) Market a protection plan

  19. TheTruQ

I thought we needed a new mixer, but of course could say we didn’t need one. The current one still worked, albeit with a deficiency. Well, enter this GE stand mixer.

Out of the box, this thing is impressive. It’s very well built, attractive to the eye, and feels sturdy and premium at the same time. All of this and it’s noticeably lighter than my old mixer. It comes with everything you need and expect: bowl, wire whisk, dough hook, and a flat beater. Here is what I loved most about the accessories though: the lid. Yes, that lid is what we didn’t have for our previous mixer, and it makes a big difference in not only containing its contents, but also adding ingredients with ease and not having to shut off the mixer or be concerned about splatter. Making certain cake batters, I like to add ingredients at certain stages of the mixing process. This GE mixer made it much easier to do so, and it has a deeper, larger bowl than my previous mixer. I also found this mixer to be quiet, but more powerful, and I have much more flexibility with mixing speed – 7 speeds offer a lot more range. There is an arm lock that engages whether the mixer is in either position, up or down.

This has been a welcome upgrade to my kitchen, and a very pleasant transition to what I feel is a better product. My old mixer was very good, but this new GE Stand Mixer easily “1-ups” it. It is bigger and better in nearly every aspect, is much quieter and more powerful, and it has that much appreciated lid.

This stand mixer is a great versitile unit. It comes with the wisk, dough hook, and paddle plus a large mixing bowl. I’ve used this mixer to make sauces, mix spices in to meats as well as making some dough and it did a great job on all of it with out getting bogged down. The ingredients were mixed thoroughly too. The one draw back I don’t understsand is that only the wisk and bowl are dishwasher safe. I’m not sure why since the wisk is the most delicate because of it’s design. The attachments connect easy enough that you don’t need to fight them but they aren’t loose enough to come off when the unit is running. The splashguard comes in handy for mixing sauces and other ingredients that can splash. I definitely recommend this stand mixer for anyone who likes to cook on any level, but the unit is very heavy of course so you’ll want to pick a mostly premanent spot for it to sit on your counter. I’m looking forward to the holidays when I can make all kinds of delicious cookies, cakes and bread.

My wife mixes and mixes and mixes steaight to the pan in the oven for some yummy delights.

This mixer gets the job done. My whipped cream turns out beautifully as do my cake batters. There is, however, a small problem – this mixer is unbelievably LOUD for the duration of your food prep.

Otherwise, it’s a workhorse which I call “ the little mixer that could.” It’s NOT little or lightweight. Buy this mixer today because the price is right when it’s on sale.

Got this when it was on sale since I’ve been wanting one but didnt want to spend over $300 for one. I really like it. I’m not a big time baker, I just do simple baking and this does the job just fine.

Literal Garbage, Cheap plastic fitting broke about the second time I used it

  32. Wally

We are so pleased with this mixer. We have started to make our own breads and it does a great job. Easy to use, easy to clean, happy with the features. Got for a great price through Best Buy’s price match.

  33. Sunshine

I have used this many times since I bought it. I really like the plastic piece to help with messes for when I mix powder sugar and cream cheese together for pumpkin rolls. The bowl is really deep so you can mix a lot more than I expected.

  34. Suman

This is good with dough prep. never tried other tho. but came with a slight scratch.

  35. PatV

This mixer seems to work as well as my brand-name mini mixer so I’m pleased with it.

  37. ChaffoniaB

I purchased this mixer because I always wanted a stand up mixer. Now that I have it I don’t know what to mix first.

  38. NishatiT

Very easy to clean and operate. Light weight bowl. Perfect for our small family of 3.

  39. user639009

Love the product, only gave it three stars because the mixing attachments do not get to the bottom of the bowl, and the flat blade doesn’t touch the sides either.

  40. DouglasF

This item was purchased as a gift for Christmas. So, I can’t give a review at this time.

  45. Chrissy

I bought this mixer because my old one had trouble mixing thick batter and would not turn. This mixer had no problem. I did not realize how under performing my old mixer was until I used this one. It mixes everything very well. I love it.
