    Sleek modern design, quiet quality performance. Spent $1,200 on a Kitchen Aid brand that didn’t fit the new cabinet space so “down graded” to GE Profile. Love love love the unit and the $1k savings. Many cook features, very quiet, and fast / powerful for 800 watts. Love it! Buy it! You won’t regret it.

    The door is flimsy as others have reviewed. It did go in the built in space. There was minimal operating directions. Some things have been hard to figure out. Thus the reason for the 4 star. Otherwise it works great.

    With only 800 watts , it take a while for your food to get hot.
    I don’t use it for cooking much .It is satisfactory for my use.
    The older model I had ,seem to work better.

    Owned for 2 years, broke right at the two year mark. Didn’t get the extended warranty, which is my fault this day and age, but how can a $500 microwave die after 2 years? And why does GE only warranty it for one year? Do they not trust their quality to last longer than a year?

    I’m in the process of trying to fix it. It died when I opened the door early to stop the timer as my food was hot enough. When that happened it tripped the actual breaker for that circuit in the house. Took it apart and I checked the door switches and the middle one, Pushed in the tab on it and heard a click that was different than the others and little harder to push in. Tried hooking everything back up and now with the door closed, it pulls 1000 watts as if it is trying to run even though I didn’t cook anything. It stops with the door open so I’m assuming something with the switches is bad OR the whole switch interlock system.

    Taking it to a repair shop would probably cost over half what I paid for it. IF I can’t fix it I’ll be forced to get again because of my situation this is the only one that fits in my cabinet for the kitchen setup. I built it into a normal wall cabinet with the trim kit. I know one thing, if I end up having to get a new one, I’ll buy the extended warranty this time.

    Replacing my old one with the same model to avoid modifying my cabinets. Magnetron failed on my previous model after 7 years and it was cheaper to just replace the whole unit. Fingers crossed this one lasts longer , but I have had back luck with all my GE products

    It works fine…less than 1000w. so can take a bit longer than a more powerful microwave…but it’s te only one that will fit into my cabinet space.

    I replaced a 10 year old microwave that was a version of this same model. This the only microwave that would fit the cabinet space for my microwave, so glad GE still makes it. The latest model has had its LED display upgraded and it seems to cook much more efficiently. I hope it lasts as long as the last one!

    Idk how GE can sleep at night, offering the same small, under-powered, nothing-special microwave for nearly $500 because you know folks dumb enough to buy in once are now stuck.

    That said, it works fine except you need to add @25 percent more time to everything because microwaveable food instructions are calibrated for 1000-1200 rather than the 800 watts this model limps in with.

    Sadly I have an enclosed cabinet space made to fit previous versions of this model… so this was my only option.
    The most annoying feature of this latest model is when you set the timer and it tells you the time is up it only beeps once instead of continued beeping. Totally worthless.

    This is easily the worst purchase that we have ever made! We purchased this microwave to fill in a space to appear customized as a built in. It is the most useless piece of equipment on the planet. It cannot even pop mini bags of popcorn. You have to heat room temperature food up for a minimum of 3 minutes. Also, to make things worse, it is more expensive than more powerful and useful microwaves on the market. GE is exploiting the customer with this one. It is also devastating that these companies make it so hard for consumers to return these useless products.

    Run! Run far away!

    I paid $300+ for this product 1.5 year sago and the display no longer works. GE wants to charge me $300 to fix it. I can’t believe I have to throw almost a new product away as GE does not support it’s product or customers

    Have a 20 year old GE Profile microwave oven that still works but doing a kitchen remodeling so getting a newer stainless steel GE Profile oven. Best Buy had a great out of the box model at a fantastic price. Fits perfectly in my built in setup. Best Buy team was very helpful in finding it and showing it to me fore purchase. Looks like new at I’ve 75% off. With the savings I also bought a 4 year extended Geek Squad warranty.

    Great deal. Microwave was an open box purchase – the microwave is slim so it does not take a lot of space on my counter – but large on the inside for warming up bigger items. Very spacious without taking up too much space.

    this was the perfect replacement for my old GE Spacemaker microwave. Works very well, but only 800 watts of power, so can take longer to cook when recipes assume a 1200 watt oven.

    I am very satisfied with this appliance. It heats your food constantly and is very efficient. There are different options for various types of food. Weather it’s frozen, or just needs a quick reheat or a full cooking option you have choices.

    Original unit came with the house i purchased a few years ago. Stopped working Jan 2023, so i purchased another unit to replace it. Stopped working last night, exactly 1 yr after purchasing!

    It is a direct replacement for our old 24 inch under the cabinet microwave. The old one was here when we moved in and was quite old. It worked well but showed its age. I was able to use the old mounting hardware and there were no issues removing and replacing the old one.

    It looks and works very well and we have enough space to cook what we want in it.
