    This is a full function microwave which fulfills my need for most food prep applications. But most important of all it fits in pre designed kitchen cabinets

    I purchased the same microwave approx 15 years ago and it was time to get another. The reviews on this one (the newer version) was great, and since having the other with no problems for over 15 years, I went for it and glad I did. This one has turn table, the other did not. I like the turn table but need to get used to the smaller glass plate. Other than that, it’s great.

    works a little different than my old one but it fits in old cabinet fine. The only thing I don’t like is that the dinger won’t turn off. Not too fond of the turntable but couldn’t get one without it.

    This microwave was the only one I could get to fit into the cabinet. It work’s quite different from my old Profile which I like a lot better.

    Referred to this model to replace an older GE model for my built in cabinet. Width wise it fit exactly into the 24 inch wide space. However, what the description and specifications do not tell you, is that you need about an extra 1/2 inch of space on the left to open the door. Had no choice but to return the unit, for a more reasonably priced counter top model.

    Ordered this microwave to replace a supposedly identical one — exactly same part number. Beware the sizes are not exactly the same, plus the mounting holes are in different places. I noticed the microwave is no longer branded as “GE Profile” but simply “GE”. As a result, installation/replacement was not as simple as anticipated.

    This is my 2nd GE profile the 1st is at least 18 yrs still working but shuts off occasionally.

    This GE is basically the only microwave with short and shallow dimensions for special or existing cabinet requirements, and has been for many years. Therefore it is overpriced relative to its other capabilities. But it works fine and has the features we need, so we buy one every 5 or so years.

    My old GE Profile SpaceMaker microwave oven finally gave out after a decade of regular use. I bought this model to replace the old one. It’s a great update to he older version that had fewer control options and no turntable. I like the updated sensor cooking. My only issue was that the under cabinet mounting holes did line up with the decade older version which forced me to drill new holes in the bottom of the cabinet and the old mounting hardware that I was able to reuse.

    Total nuisance. May look clean aesthetically but handle was completely broken . Button to open door was busted. Had to return delayed me having a microwave until I was free to drive to a local Best Buy. Don’t wanna buy online again

    We purchased the GE Under cabinet was listed as 12″ high but when we attempted to fit it into the space the existing GE Microwave occupied we found that the new one was too tall. It was actually 1/4″ taller than the original Microwave so it would not fit into the space we had available.

    I needed to find a microwave with specific measurements. I had a G.E., luckily this was very close to my old one. Doesn’t seem to cook as fast as my old one, but easy to use.

    We’ve had GE Spacesaver Microwaves for over 30 years. They look good, are reliable.and does the job for cooking or warming very well.

    Good replacement for broken microwave. Supposed to be direct replacement, but mounting holes in top had been relocated. Made it a pain to install.

    Too small. Really a counter top unit and not an install. Looks out of place with oven. Not what we thought we were getting. Space had to be cut and cost us more. We were told unit would fit in existing space.

    I love that microwave. The only one that fits in our kitchen cubby. I just wish it was more powerful but otherwise perfect.

    Purchased this GE Profile microwave in April 2020. It functioned well for 3 years and then stopped working. For that reason, can’t recommend it.

    I had a built-in GE Spacesaver before, and was happy to see they were still made. My previous lasted for over 25 years, so obviously a great brand. The dimensions were still perfect in width and depth. The height is slightly smaller, but a small piece of trim will fill the gap.

    Hard to find microwave. Fits under a standard 12″ deep wall cabinet. 24″ wide; 15″ high. Very simple GE controls work well.

    This unit replaced a ge profile one. It’s dimensions are larger but the inside rotating dish is smaller. Things that I was able to use in prior microwave no longer fit.
    It is unable to pop popcorn. It leaves half or kernels unpopped and the remaining kernels hard and useless, no matter how much I put in. I would never buy this appliance again. Never experienced such a bad microwave, even cheap units.

    The microwave is quite shallow. It’s just deep enough to accommodate the turntable. It’s only 800 watts. Unfortunately for me, this is the only model that will fit my cabinet. I think GE knows this and has priced it far higher than it should be. My last microwave lasted 23 years. I hope this one is built to last.
