    I already had the solenoid and fill tube cup installed so to install icemaker literally took 5 minutes. 1 plug to insert and 2 screws.

    Was a bit tricky to install given the location of the fridge, and the tray takes up quite a bit of room inside the already small freezer. But it works, which is the most important thing!

    It makes ice. What more do you need to know. Where the electrical cord is plugged in makes it impossible to push the collecting bin all the way to the back. Some ice misses the bin.

    If I could rate this a zero, I would. I have removed this ice maker numerous times to thaw the ice maker which was completed frozen solid. It will work a couple times after reinstalling but then it will freeze up again. This freeze pushed up enough to break one of the plastic fingers.

    It makes ice fine, but the overflow switch does not work. We have to turn the unit off when the bin fills, and turn it back on when the bin gets low.

    Easy to install with clear step by step instructions. Once it gets to temp you’ll have ice running out yer ears.. jk.. it fills up the bin fairly quick. You can hear the water fill action, which is normal. When it dumps the ice it’s quiet, not loud like it’s breaking in your house at night.. lol..
