    The machines run so quietly that sometimes I forget I was using them. The two guys who delivered and installed the machines were fantastic, They completed the job in a blink of an eye. They were courteous and professional, I hope they will be sent to deliver my refrigerator at my other property.

    This dryer replaced a 10 year old LG that quit on us.

    We really like the size and digital controls. The LG had manual timer knob which was starting to wear out.

    It’s also much quieter than the old dryer which had developed a squeak.

    As far as drying speed goes, my wife says this one is faster than the old one.

    The wifi features are somewhat disappointing. The app does notify us when the drying cycle is nearing completion and when it finishes. However, I was sort of expecting to be able to make changes from the app(start, stop, change cycle, change heat) but in actuality the only thing you can do is view the current cycle, and stop it.

    You can set up a delayed start on the dryer and then as long as the door isn’t opened, start it later from the app.

    I understand the safety reasons behind these decisions, but I don’t see when we would ever need to delay the dryer and start it later remotely.

    I would maybe dock half a star for not being able to change the heat level or tumble speed from the app, though I don’t know if any other dryer offers that either.

    I would also note that there was a small dent on the back of it, that I didn’t notice until I got it home which is an hour away from the store. This would be more of a Best Buy issue than a GE issue. I didn’t return it because of the hassle, and it doesn’t seem to affect the performance but it’s disappointing none the less.

    On the plus side there was an energy star rebate for this dryer which will offset the costs a little.

    Time will tell how long it lasts but it feels like a solid product.

    When delivered the installer could not install due to the fact that the cord was a 4 prong. My receptacle was a 3 prong. The technician took the cord though he claims he left it in the dryer which he did not. We had to go out and purchase the proper cord.

    We bought this to match our new washer, and it was the best decision. The dryer is easy to use and has so many settings to match whatever load is next. The clothes come out dry after just one cycle, and the filter is easy to remove, clean and replace. It’s so quiet and fits large loads, which makes the laundry take less time. We would definitely recommend it!

    The wife and i grabbed this washer and dryer on a sale, and they also had a buy one get one free for the pedestals. We could not be happier! Everything was easy to get together and get in place and leveled and we both are loving all the extra features on these! The pedestals have tons of space in them too which is great because we love in a pretty small house.

    We had to replace our dryer when we moved as the one we had was gas and the new house is electric. Did alot of research and GE was always on the top for relaibilty and servicing. We love this dryer, it dries a full load quickly and beats our gas dryer hands down.

    Great dryer! I got it to match the washer replacement from my warranty company. Coming from an older LG set (no issue with the dryer) the saggy tu GE was really nice. The drums are a great size and I love the vent feature that dries out the washer after your done. It prevents that gross mildew smell and I don’t have to leve the door open to achieve the same thing.
