I am really disappointed in how cheaply made this dryer is. The lint trap is flimsy and let’s a lot through into the dryer internals. The control panel is also cheap unsturdy plastic. Worst of all it made a scratchy noise from day-one, then two week after delivery loud clicks began when the burner would cycle on and off and the burners became so loud that I could hear them two rooms away. Finally, a disturbing buzzing noise began to occur whenever the burners kicked on. This is my second dryer in a month that I have to exchange back to BB (other was a different brand). They have been really good about it, but the manufacturers should be ashamed of their product quality. Funny thing is, it dries really well.

The dryer is as simple as you want at a price that is worthy. All of the basic features are included and it performs flawlessly. Best Buy delivered it for free the next day and it was simple…they took the bad one and left me this perfect unit. Coming from an older unit you will be amazed at how quiet it is. My drying time is cut by 10 minutes due to its modern efficiency and that saves me cash. The fact that you can turn that signal buzzer off right on the front is a major bonus to me. It is quiet, works like a charm, and Best Buy with their awesome service brings it to you. What can be bad about that? A Great Purchase

Standard feature dryer with drying & garment handling features to service most standard wardrobes, without a ton of excessive and unnecessary “bells & whistles” that drive the price up. Cannot really judge overall “quality” yet because I have had the unit less than one month. Gas dryers cost a little more in initial purchase, but pay off quickly because gas is much cheaper than electricity for drying clothes. It is worth the extra 8 to 10 percent initial cost difference between the two dryer types.

I’ve had this dryer for about 3 months now and have had no problems with it. It dries somewhat faster than dryers I’m used to, and has the exact basic functionality I need for every day home use. Complaints about the lint trap are valid, it is rather flimsy and is one piece of plastic as opposed to a plastic frame and a screen. Overall, good value for the money.

Our old dryer was almost 20 years old and finally bit the dust. It was a basic GE model so I figured Id stick with what worked. It is a little cheaply made, but what applicance isnt nowadays. The sales person actually told us to only expect 8-10 years of life out of it. ????
But this is a great dryer so far and was very easy to install. Dont waste the $$ on installation. Do it yourself!

I love the fact that you can choose for it to sound the buzzer. It dries just fine if you don’t over load it like any dryer. It is very big so I have plenty of room and the lint trap works very well. I really enjoy this dryer!

I shopped for a month prior to purchasing, being very careful about price, features, and size. I purchased both the 7.0 gas dryer and the matching washer as a set, right around President’s Day. I needed a larger capacity washer and dryer to replace a set I’d had for ten years. I wanted a top loader without too many gadgets and bells and whistles–I like simplicity. I am ecstatic with this set. I wash at least two loads daily for my family, and on the weekends even more. There is nothing I have bad to say about these appliances. They are quiet, quick, efficient, cost-effective on my utilities, and can handle big loads like a champ. And on small, gentle loads they also perform with finesse. They were very inexpensive–I saved probably half of what I might have spent on a similar set. I highly recommend these for anyone who has a medium to large sized family who is looking for a good, reliable laundry set.

Simple to use and works great.
The fewer bells and whistles, the less to break down.
