  1. Wolfbell

After weeks of research, I truly believe this is one of the best ranges available. It looks great, cooks great, is easy to use, and the notifications are clear and user-friendly. The only thing that bothers me is the range top is impossible to keep clean, even with the cleaner. I am going to look for another type of cleaner and see if that helps.

  2. Veronika

I had a gas JenAir and wanted to switch to electric to eliminate the constant cleaning of the grids. I love the high power electric on all burners and super easy clean up after any grease stains or spills but I’m disappointed how easily the surface gets scratched. Most pots will scratch the surface even if they are brand new unless the bottom is enameled. Pots with rings and little metal dots that are rated for ceramic are too harsh and will scratch the surface with a slightest movement. I have bought and returned about 7 different pots and pans already. Anyway, the user guide and the cooktop should have a big warning printed to use only smooth bottom cookware otherwise even if there is a bit of dried food stuck underneath the pan it will scratch the glass.
I like the double ovens a lot and finally use them because they heat up much quicker and they are very quiet unlike my old JenAir convection oven. I found out that if I bake in the bottom oven some heat gets into the top oven and makes it warm. It’s a nice side effect for keeping food warm int here.
I was very hesitant to buy the electronics panel but I love it because it is very easy to use for burners or for setting up ovens. I even set up the mobile app on my phone which I didn’t honk I would use but it alerts me on its own whenever I am using the ovens. During the first time initial set up the app recognized only one or the other oven but not both of them so I called the customer service and they were super patient in walking me thru the steps to clear everything out and restart at which point the app was working great.
There is a about 1/4 to 1/2 in gradual gap between the surface and my granite counter which was surprising but I filled it with a thin folded strip I cut from a table foam mat and it looks great. My husband was against this range but now keeps commenting that I made the right choice and he likes the modern look and functionality.

  3. JJS2018

Love the double oven and all the features. With everything being on a touch panel it’s very easy to keep clean. I’ve had other GE appliances before and have never had any problems, expecting the same with this one.

  4. Guero

We are so happy with this stove the smaller oven is great for everyday items and uses less energy and it was delivered fast..

  5. MattC

I did a kitchen remodel in April and May of this year. I purchased this oven and scheduled delivery in mid-May. The delivery was fine, BestBuy did a great job. Once the kitchen was finished, I was very happy with the way everything was working. In the beginning of August (2 1/2 months of use) the range stopped working. I called GE and they came out 2 weeks later. they said they’d need to order a new fan (which makes the whole range inoperable–cooktop and oven). 2 weeks later, the part never came. I called GE again — the y said the part was back ordered until the end of September. It is now the end of September and I just got off the phone with GE, who said the part is still back ordered and they don’t know when it will be available. This is a huge inconvenience to me and my family. The way the GE Rep spoke to me, it seems like they either don’t care, or have so many problems they can’t handle all the issues. Either way, I am not happy with this item and the company.

  6. bbreview

I’ve owned GE Profile ovens for a while and this new one does not meet my expectations, especially for the price. The older model comes with the side lip, so that it looks flush with counter and food can’t fall in between. The top rack is extremely difficult to pull out, the older model came with glide rack which made it much easier. The control panel seems cheap, the light where the on button for each burner does not line with correctly as well.

  7. Dean

Two weeks in and it works as advertised. With the app I can preheat either oven or both so they are ready to go when I get home. A little pricey but well worth the money.

  8. Velaco75

I was hesitant about the touch controls vs actual knobs, but they’re easy to use and keep clean. The only thing I noticed Is when using the bottom oven you do have to bend down quite a bit to get food in and out since there is no storage drawer, literally the oven is all the way to the floor level. Is nice that is connected from a safety stand point and convenience. I’ll get a notice If I left the stove or oven on. I’ll update the review once we start using the ovens. So far very happy with this range.

  9. RW60

Love the ease of use controls. Double oven comes in handy for entertaining. Warming feature and burner synch are nice features.

  10. Netgear

So far so good. Heats up quick compare to our old GE range.

  11. Tr091977

Awesome stove! Love the double ovens and very easy to clean. We are in the middle of a remodel and luckily stove is already installed! Super easy to use !

  12. Zeegator

Our key deciding factor was the size of heating elements. This cook top offers one of the largest size of the heating elements. And compared to our older GE cook top, this one heats up really fast.

The touch controls are very nice, and gives this range a very nice and sleek look. The only unknown is how will they perform over the long run. I can imagine the repair cost to be very high compared to traditional knob controls. Hope they last for long time

We really like the double oven feature. This is our first double oven and we are really glad we made that choice,,,although that was not our original purchasing criteria. Due to smaller size, the oven pre-heats really fast. Also you can control the oven from the mobile app. Although you will first have to Remote Enable from the oven in order to use the App. Once Remote Enables, you can pretty much control everything, from turning it on/off, setting cooking mode and timer.

The only thing we are disappointed with is that you cannot control the cook top with the App. If the cook top is in use, the App lets you know which burner is on and at what setting, but it doesn’t let you turn off or change setting. I can’t figure out why this feature is not available. If safety was a concern, then at least let the App allow the user to turn off cooktop if it is on. That is the only reason I knocked off 1 star from the review

  13. Randy

The double oven allows for great options. The cook top heats quickly. In past I was a Gas stove owner and tried one electric that didn’t heat like gas. This one heats just like gas.

Controls are perfect and easy to operate

  14. Bobby

Looks amazing, very easy to use and bakes evenly. Great overall oven

  15. NoNickname

Terrible customer service. Ordered a stove and received an email that it would be delivered on December 16 in plenty of time for Christmas. Two days before delivery I was in Best Buy and decided to make a quick check that the stove delivery was still on schedule. Was informed that it had been back ordered and would not be delivered until January 1. There was no communication from Best Buy to inform me of this change. I could have purchased the stove from a different vendor and had it in time for Christmas if Best Buy would have been more forthcoming. Ended up cancelling the order and purchased the stove from someone else. Still did not get it in time for Christmas, but it will be delivered much earlier then January 1, and I got it for $100 less. Buyers beware of Best Buy promises.

  16. Joe1

I liked all the features and was exactly what I was looking for. There were many choices (brands, competitors, etc.) Many incentives on choosing the GE appliance package.

  17. CaptainVideo

Intelligently made and you can actually tell google to preheat both upper and bottom ovens. We are really enjoying It!

  18. Jose

Great range. The convection oven is awesome. Cooks food faster. The rapid boil is another feature we love. Overall we love this GE range. Cleans easily and looks great.

  19. jegubus

great oven, w/ its own smart system. fair warning it does have loud noise from back when oven is in operation

  20. Erik

I have had a couple of the predecessors to this GE Double Oven range over the years which were great products. At over $2100, this new redesign of it doesn’t work and is a fire hazard. If you try to use both ovens at the same time, it gets a fault and shuts down. If you try to use the big burner on top and an oven at the same time, its shuts down. Even worse, and very dangerous, the oven temperatures are all over the place. Set the upper oven for 350 degrees and it burns over 500 degrees. Lower oven runs much colder than setting, at least according to the repair techs who have been out twice and not been able to repair so far. GE has refused to replace. So far, Best Buy has not stood behind the product they sold me either. Another nice dinner ruined last night by erratic oven temperatures. Since I believe it is hazardous, and they have not been able to repair it, I will have to buy a different brand and then chase GE/Best Buy for the money paid to them for this defective range. Is the whole GE model line like this? I don’t know, but I don’t think I will take that chance knowing that GE will not replace obviously defective products.

Let me just say, this is an excellent range. But I will also say in the same breath this baby is expensive. We bought this as a part of our kitchen remodel. That said, read on for some observations.

The excellent: Convenience; that upper chamber in the range is a real winner. Whoa! You can get very intricate with your settings: Turn on, bake this long at this temp, then lower to a temp for a second period of time. For multi-stage baking, that really is big.
The good: The convection function in the lower oven does the job. The rack handles for easy pull out helps a lot. The timer volume is high or low, and not an annoying sound.
The not so good: If you want true glide racks, they are a) very difficult to get and b) very expensive (north of 400 bucks each).

Advice: When you buy this range, buy the ceramic rangetop (example: Cerama Bryte) cleaner at the same time. And use it! It makes a difference, but is a pain in the butt at times.

COVID-19 review invalid. House in remodel; haven’t seen yet; not installed.

  23. Kia3

Excellent stove but very sensitive, We first purchased the stove immediately after Christmas 2019 and within two weeks the stove went out we contacted Best Buy appliances at the 1-800 number and they had another stove delivered to us within a few weeks this stove is exceptional with its various options for different cooking methods our gripe is that since everything on the stove is digital it is very sensitive. A drop of water or liquid of any kind can and sometimes or even turn the stove on and when cleaning it and not really pressing on the buttons the stove turns on. the upside to this is that without continuing to press it turns off most of the functions but be mindful when cleaning the stove or working with water or any type of liquid around it it will trigger it in turn on, other than that we are very thankful for the multi options the stove offers and the Wi-Fi capabilities

  24. jzem

Love glasstop stove, easy to clean, heats super fast. Convection oven works great.

  25. Husband7

Just wished it had stove lips on the edges to look more like a real slide in oven that blinds into the counter top

  26. Joes

Great everything works great better time cooking only thing no information on how to use have to go to ge website or Best Buy website

  27. Anuhea

Like the look of this stove the functions are great.
The extra oven makes meal prep a snap and being able to cook at two different temperatures.

  28. Chianke

Do not buy!! To much expensive and since installed doesn’t work properly! First none oven was heating… later no burner working! Most of the times this range doesn’t work and we have no clue what’s the cause since we tried every single thing to solve! Waiting the technician which will come in 4 days! Until there I have no range/oven! Waste of money!

  29. HonestBuyer

My double-oven was delivered on 9/28/20. I waited to post a review to be sure I experienced all the appliance had to offer. Due to the pandemic, my choices were limited! PROS: top single oven is convenient and efficient; stove top heats quickly. CONS: Sadly, the center touch pad for the oven has already malfunctioned and I have been without oven capabilities for over two weeks as I await a new “user interface” to be replaced; use of the full oven requires bending down quite low; using the “lock” feature provides safety for the stove top but prevents use of the oven and timer (which I was able to do with my previous oven of another brand); my previous brand also allowed a “keep warm” oven function which this oven does not. I give it 3 stars since the oven is functional but seemingly unreliable.

  30. Unreliable

Have a GE PS950SF3SS slide in double oven range that is only six years old and the control panel has stopped working! Repair man is saying it is not worth the $700-800 part plus labor to repair a this GE range since the “cooling system” will probably malfunction within years. The average age of an electric range is stated as 13 years old; this one didn’t even come close.
Very disappointed that I now have to buy a new range. This is why the US has full dumps; nothing lasts here. I am having it recycled but I will never buy another range with a push control panel. We did not have an electrical surge from lightning or otherwise, therefore it is just an unreliable appliance.

  31. PracticalBuyer

SUPER NICE – double oven, slide in range. Convection (bottom oven) works well. ceramic top has a high boil large burner and there is a dual burner for a griddle. Touchpad is so nice!!!
We had some issues with fan noise, but had warranty peeps in within a month. Two or three visits, but the issue was corrected.

  32. ConsumerBill

Really great! Got an email to update the software which enabled Air Fry feature.

  33. Lefa

It’s really nice and I love the features. The top difficult to keep clean. If the controls are unlocked, they are very sensitive.

  34. Bobby

Bought mine less than three years ago. The control panal quit. When you open the oven, all the heat hits the control panel. This exposure to heat will burn out to the control panel over time. Poor design with no heat protection. Buy another brand.

  35. KathyO

The stove is very nice and modern, looks beautiful but its a money pit. I owned for about 3 yrs and had 3 burners replaced already, the largest one 2 times. Then the wifi stopped working. Now the whole panel is dead. I had already payed for it twice with the repairs. I will recommend getting the extended 5 year warranty if you can. These is a constant waste of money.
