    After preheating the oven and heat begins to build up the touch screen buttons bubble up from the heat. Also the self clean oven leaves a white residue from the water at the bottom of the oven.

    The griddle in the center is an awesome feature! We love the knobs on the top so the kids don’t bump into them.

    We bought this one after our 5 years old Samsung broke down. We like this GE one because of the backless feature which provided more space, it is very efficient and has the convection, self cleaning features that we like.

    It worked great for a while, then it kept turning off during the pre-heat. Had the fan replaced, after a couple of uses, it started cutting off again

    Purchased this to replace another broken GE gas range and after one week smelled gas coming from oven. Gas company came out on emergency call and red tagged the stove due to mechanical problems. Gas leak in internal components. Best Buy replaced stove with a second identical stove promptly. The second stove was turned on and immediately started smelling of gas. This one got red tagged for an internal gas leak as well as a leak from the center burner in the top.
    Will never buy another GE stove!

    Great design. Powerful burners. Not sure if the convection fan in the oven actually provides an added value for baking but the oven does work well. Only negative is the fact that the cast iron grill/griddle plate doesn’t come standard but must be bought as an add-on. The aluminum griddle that comes with the oven is suitable but the metal doesn’t retain heat nearly as efficiently as cast iron. Hope these comments help whoever is considering buying this item.

    Everything works great and my self installation was super easy. The griddle is very easy to clean by just wiping it off so it won’t be spending time in the dishwasher between meals. The large burners really kick out the BTUs and I didn’t experience any problem with pans tipping over because the grates are too wide. The electronics were easy to understand so no surprises. One thing to consider vs. other models is that it doesn’t have a lip that slightly overlaps the countertop. Our old Amana did and we thought our counters were perfectly aligned…they are not. Now we can see they are out of perfect square.

    I have only cooked a few times but the few times it has functioned well. Burners turn on quickly and are quiet. The oven temperature is accurate. My favorite part so far is the center griddle. I made yummy quesadillas on the griddle this week. Much easier and faster than in a pan. Looking forward to frying bacon on it.

    We had this range for less than a month when the oven stopped working. We called GE repair and had to wait for two weeks for a repair man to come out. Since the repair man fixed the problem (a sensor not attached properly) the oven has had no issues. We really like the range now. The burners are powerful and the oven bakes very evenly. It is just disappointing to have to call foe a repair so soon.

    I’m really enjoying my new range. It pre-heats faster than its predecessor and bonus cools down quickly too. The vent is positioned so that most of the hot air goes right into the hood above and doesn’t over heat the kitchen. Still getting used to the new burners, but no complaints. Love having the oven controls in front and the knobs at an angle.

    easy to use range. very accurate & intuitive oven. The SS top surface is easy to clean. A small burner would be helpful to have close at the front instead of 2 in the rear of the cooking surface. Sometimes I don’t want a large blazin’ burner under a pot; a small fire would suffice.

    This stove is an eye catcher for sure! It has that going for it!! However this is our first slide in stove with controls in the front the oven and burners work great, but we are finding we have to clean it after every use the stove top & controls..Not really what we thought we would be doing. I’ll attach a pic to show when cooking on front burner anything greasy turns out to be a mess on the front panel and stove top itself.
    Yes cooking can be at times messy I understand. But who wants to clean off the controls and top after every use! Not me

    I have had this stove for about 4 weeks now. It is really nice. I would recommend getting the upgraded griddle that is actually cast iron for the middle. I also purchased the standard grates for the middle as well, which allows me to use regular pots and such on the middle burner. All and all very nice stove.

    The stovetop is very good with much better flame control than my old GE dual fuel. I won’t use the griddle so bought the optional grate.

    As for the oven, the second day we had it, I baked in the morning, turned it on again about two hours later and the oven exploded. I ducked and thought something quite large had hit the outside kitchen wall but nothing was visibly damaged inside or out. Best Buy offered to replace the range and we received it today. I approximated that same scenario without incident.

    Unfortunately, I cannot say how well this oven works. We waited two weeks for the first one to be delivered, and it was damaged. We waited another two weeks for the second one to be delivered, and it was damaged worse than the first. We were near the end of our kitchen remodel and needed my oven STAT!
    Someone does not know their job, because they are not properly handling these appliances.
    I went to a local chain appliance store and found an even better range, less cost, and next day perfect delivery.

    We love how easy it is to clean the stainless steel top, it is aesthetically pleasing and the convection oven is awesome. We have used the oven a few times and everything cooks evenly and beautifully. All five top burners are great as well, we love the design of all top burners, exactly the sizes we have always looked for and the three separate grates on top with the option to change the flat skillet for a grate!

    The range is good quality. Only two comments. First, this is a replacement for the original built-in. Kitchen counter gap closers are needed to cover the small gap between the range and the counter on both sides. Best Buy does not offer these, but should. Also, the range is slightly deeper than the built-in being replaced. It does not fit as flush as the original did by about an inch.

    Great looking design, functions flawlessly… My only request would have been to supply a grate for the middle burner for large pots. It brings a griddle plate which is nice, but i find myself rarely using it (Great for grilled cheese melts!).

    Got my gas range! Big, beautiful and powerful. Not as hard to clean as I thought after years of radiant heat cooktop. Just watch out for height from above microwave. Geek Squad was able to adjust stove so we are good.

    LOVE this stove! Cooks things perfectly, evenly and quickly. I also replaced the center griddle with a burner grate so that I have more burners to cook on! (Had to buy it separately.)

    After 6 months of usage, the gas burner broke and the flame wont turn-off. The repair man said it will take 2 weeks for the parts to arrive and installed. BEST CUSTOMER NO-SERVICE.

    This stove cooks great and looks great. The surface under the burners is stainless steel and requires clean up after you cook. Other than that it has been the best stove we have owned

    Range works decently. However, there is a very noticeable gas smell when first turning on the oven. I called Geek Squad to check it and they came out and said it was normal. Not crazy about this diagnosis.

    We loved this range when we got it. But it started to shut off during pre heating. We can no longer get the oven to stay on. When we try to do a self clean it makes a funny noise.
