    Love everything about it! Cleans really well and spins out nearly all the residual water. Others complained about the noisy spin and jumping around -we have none of that. It is super quiet. We had excellent installers though. They made sure the machine was level and then did a test wash to be sure all was A-ok. We use the appropriate cycle and are very happy with our purchase. Satin nickel is almost a champagne color- really dresses up our pass-thru laundry room.

    Terrible quality. I hate that these sites always ask you to review a product when you’ve only had it a couple of weeks. I’ve had this for 2 years. When it needed its first major repair, it was *just* out of the one year warranty. I had to replace the motor that drains the washer. That was $300. Now, just under two years since I bought it, the main control board has failed – meaning it won’t even turn on. It’s a total loss, because the board is on severe backorder and replacing it costs more than the used machine is worth ($600). I’ve been warned never to buy a GE washer again, and I’m definitely taking that to heart.

    This washer worked great for 14 months then the UI board failed which will cost $700 to fix since it is 2 months beyond warranty. I called GE customer relations to discuss and they hung up on me. Buyer beware of GE products with short warranties. This was a very disappointing and costly experience since we had to buy 2 washers in 14 months.

    Does exactly what is advertised, efficient, slightly noisy, WiFi connectivity, easy installation. Keeps the bacteria off of the places where it typically develops in front loader washing machines.
    Would recommend this machine to a friend.
    Replaced a Samsung that was a front loader washer that developed a lot of bacteria around the door, typical for front loader machines.

    Very nice washer. We love everything about it except one thing. It is extremely heavy, get help before you buy this. Small appliance levelers are essential to level the machine.

    This washing machine worked great for the first year. Problem started the second year. The locking mechanism would just cycle 3 intervals and then says “End” like it completed a full wash. That’s half of the problem. The other half is that the machine would just stop mid cycle and not finish the last spin cycle leaving the clothes either drenched in water or even leaving a pool of water in the machine. Paying 2k for a washing machine expecting it to be the best and for it not to last a year was a total disappointment. My 500 dollar old washing machine lasted at least almost a decade…

    We bought the the washer about a month ago and so far it has been really good. The wifi option is really nice and helps getting more laundry done. Normal cycles complete in about 50 minutes.

    Great washer. Love the soap dispenser feature. I also like the sanitize cycle. There is also a vent cycle so that the clothes stay fresh if they sit for a short period of time after wash is finished. The app reminds you when the load is complete.

    I love my GE Microban Washer. It makes washing my clothes easy as can be. I just toss in a load of towels, select the towels cycle, it automatically dispenses the proper amount of detergent (Thanks to the Smart Dispense System), and once I’m done with the week’s laundry, I touch the ULTRAFRESH VENT button twice and my machine circulates microban fresh air throughout the door and the drum circulates as it dries out the door and inside the machine Preventing those nasty Odors other frontload machines are known for! It’s Second to None!

    There is a reason this washer is on clearance, poor quality and design. I previously had a Maytag Epic Z front load washer. I had the Maytag for over 12 years and didn’t have any issues until year 12 when I had to change the water pump. We’ve had the new GE Washer for only 2 years and it will no longer dispense the fabric softner. It took 5 phone calls before I could even get a customer service agent on the phone and they wouldn’t cover the $300 in parts under warranty that was needed to fix the issue. A cheap poorly designed water valve and the entire smart dispenser draw and the housing it slides into. They don’t sell you the dispenser drawer by itself which contains a valve that is not longer functioning, so you have to purchase the entire assembly which costs over $175. I will never again purchase any GE appliances due to poor customer service and warranty issues.

    It can’t wash small loads, doesn’t spin the water out. Also we use high quality soap but stains don’t seem to be washed enough to come out.
