    Replaced a malfunctioning cook top and found this to be good product for the money. Not sure I like to Power On icon to get started.

    I had a GE Profile before. From the description, it looked like I didn’t need those few extra features, so I picked the standard GE. No store carried this model for me to actually see, so I bought it online, sight unseen. The printing/lettering is so faint and hard to read, I always have to use the overhead light to use the cooktop. Very annoying. There are a few things I liked on the Profile that aren’t on the standard cooktop.

    Very happy with new replacement to old Kenmore cooktop which had a broken glass and was no longer available. Love the new touch controls. No knobs. Fit the prior opening for easy install.

    This cooktop is poorly designed and the only large burner in is the center of the back row of burners. I would not have rated this so low over only the design. The controls are marked so lightly that I honestly cannot read them without turning on an extra light. Also the surface sees to be very prone to be scratched and stained. This is the third glass cooktop that I have had and all three of the others have been vastly superior to this on.

    We got this to replace a very dated cooktop. Took me 30 minutes to install it and wire it. Looks great. Only downside is, you need to clean it constantly

    The only downside is that the stovetop writing is difficult to read without some overhead light. Otherwise functions fine.

    I never knew that induction cooking could be so good. It’s easy to cook on and fast as well. Easy to keep clean and simple to operate. You may need some new cookware but believe me, its worth, after all, said and done.

    This product is reasonably priced and I didn’t have any problem installing it by myself. The only issue is that it makes sound when I turn it on/off, but I can’t find setting to reduce a volume.

    Nice cooktop, no knobs, adjustable burner sizes and heats quickly. Only drawback is it’s a little hard to see the controls without an under cabinet light, on an island would probably be ok

    Not only does it look nice and sleek, but it works very well! It heats up quickly and cools down quickly too. Does not scratch easily and very easy to clean.

    This is my second 36 inch GE smooth cooktop the first one I had lasted me 14 years can’t complain about that. I hope I have as good luck with this one as I did with the first.

    We had a Kitchen. It was time to replace. I chose this one because it had 5 burner’s. I also liked the flat touch for the controls opposed to knobs. We are all still getting use to the touched. Not so sure I really like it. I do like it frees up the space and is flat. We are still getting use to the temperature control yet. We have burned a few things. You need to cook at a low temp. The controls are not easy to see . They need to be darker.

    My older glass topped drop in stove from GE broke when a dish hit it. this should have been about the same but the glass is so dark we can barely read it.

    They seem happy with it. We do notice the top is very touch sensitive. If you say lay a loaf of bread on top of it , it beeps and thinks you want to set the temperature!

    Have had this cooktop from Best Buy for several years and am happy with it. I need to replace the range hood above and need to know what is the range of CFM I should look for? I plan to mount the vent fan 30 inches above the range, as we are tall. Thanks.

    The cooktop works very well and the rapid boil feature is great. My 1 complaint is that it is a bit difficult to clean. When things boil over or splash they are very difficult to clean off.
