We’ve had this 3 years. It has worked great until it started quitting in the middle of the cycle. I dont know if I did something to cause it.

It is what I expected. It does not have a garbage disposal built in as many under the counter dishwashers do, so it is necessary to do more pre cleaning than with other dishwashers.

Love this. We have an older home and didn’t want to lose the cabinet space to install a dishwasher. This is super spacious, just as big as any built in I’ve ever used, and works great. The only annoying part is hooking it up to the sink, we had to get a special adapter because we had a hose type sink. Definitely need a basic sink unless you want to go crazy finding an adapter.

We bought this dishwasher 2 1/2 years ago and started leaking. We have finally determined it needs a new door assembly. Cost, $200.00 After reading the other bad reviews I think we will end up buying a different brand. No point in throwing good money after bad.

Worst portable dishwasher. It’s about 5 weeks old and has been nothing but trouble. Racks are smaller. Detergent latch won’t open if you have a large utensil in the basket but it’s placed right next to it, it leaks from the bottom and the hose let’s out a lot of water even after shaking it out from the recycle and lastly, the cycle now won’t start. I paid close to $750 for it, it’s new and not working. I can’t believe I’m going to have to pay for a repair or new dishwasher on top of this.

Terrible product, I would never buy another GE product again. Since day one this gave me problems and it died shortly after purchase. I called GE and they were beyond useless. I have since replaced it. Save yourself money and do not purchase anything GE.

No idea if it works – it quit halfway through the trial cycle and shows an error 888 on the first wash attempt. Called geek squad and they said it would take over 35 days for a geek squad member to look at it. I bought it yesterday!!!

GE. Not impressed. Maybe should have gone with some no name manufacturer. Had dents on the side. This didn’t happen during delivery because the delivery guys just dropped the unit and ran. Ask the Best Buy Store to have the delivery people put in the casters. The guy lied to me and said I was good to go. You need a lift truck and another person to help. Totally disappointed, but thats what $600 bucks get you these days.

It’s a good dishwasher for the price. I little louder than our old one and there is no het/dry setting on the controls. It does seem to dry everything “ok” but if I had known it didn’t have an adjustable dry setting, I wouldn’t have bought it.

Silverware basket keeps coming apart, drips out the connection unless you go through a complex draining ritual. The adjustable top rack is nice. And it does well enough on getting things clean.

The loading of dishes in it is very different from our previous dishwasher, and options for big items is limited. Love the look, cleans amazingly well. There is an option that takes 2 hours and 40 minutes for the cycle, sobe prepared to wait if you choose this one!

I am very happy with the dishwasher. I gave Best Buy 2 stars because the unit was pictured with wheels, but arrived without wheels. I had the unit delivered. Best Buy offered to instal the wheels, push in to place for $179.00. I assumed that a Portable Dishwasher would come with wheels in place.
The unit is heavy to tip on side.
If you can’t tip it you may need to pay $179.00 to have wheels installed. less than a 10 min job.
The website recommends buying an installation kit $34.00 also totally unnecessary.

I’m 34 and went my whole live without a dishwasher until going on my honeymoon a couple months ago with my wife, and staying at a place that had a dishwasher. I never knew what I was missing! When I got home, I knew we had to get one! Dishes have been a nuisance of a chore since moving in with my wife. Between the two of us and our busy careers, it’s too hard to stay on top of them.
The problem; we’re saving for our own house, and currently live at a rental home without any kind of dishwasher hookup. I did some searching, and found that a thing such as portable dishwasher exists. I found this particular model here at Best Buy, and knew I had to buy it!
Best Buys delivery service was excellent and fast; they delivered it to our house in less than one week and straight into our kitchen. Assembly was a breeze, as was installing the faucet adapter.
This dishwasher is awesome. It cleans everything spotlessly every time. As someone who frequently cooks, dishes, cookware, and utensils would pile up fast in our sink. Those days are gone. This dishwasher handles everything we throw at it, including cat food bowls, crockpots, pots, and pans, you name it, it will clean it.
This appliance has absolutely changed my life, and has given me so much of my time back in cleaning. I would buy it a second time over. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. When we get a new home, we’re taking it with us as a second dishwasher. I love this model, and would buy another GE fixed unit for our future home.

This machine actually does a pretty good job cleaning dishes. However this machine nearly caught on fire (thankfully I was both awake and home). Smoke was coming out of it and you could smell it burning unplugged it and ventilated the house. The machine was not under the 1-year warranty and after seeing that same machine was still on sale, decided to have it repaired if that was possible. The circuit board had melted to the power supply BEFORE the fuse, so the machine continued to run. This is a potentially dangerous defect. The power cord has checked and was found to be in good condition, this was a manufactures defect. Cost $$$ to fix it. I also checked and there does not seem to be a recall. Use with caution.

The dishwasher cleans well. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. It was easy to connect to my kitchen faucet. My only complaint is that there wasn’t an owner’s manual included. However, I found the manual online and printed it out.
