We got this to replace a smaller portable dishwasher (18-20” size) that busted and no longer washes properly.
So far we’ve had this for a couple months and have been fairly pleased with it. Really helped us out during a period with no dishwasher. So far it’s held up well, and because it’s a major brand like GE I don’t anticipate it being as hard to find parts or maintenance in the future.
This model hooks up to the sink with a special bracket that comes with it. So you don’t need to purchase any additional kit or anything. This hooks up to the sink and NOT a regular dishwasher hookup.
We bought this because we live in an older house that doesn’t have dishwasher hookup cables installed.

The front plate of the frame is what holds the casters, because it’s structural to do maintenance means removing the front plate and wheels, which then does not stand on its own. A normal dishwasher there is a kick plate you can remove to have access to check for leaks and do maintenance… major design flaw.

What a great addition to my old farmhouse kitchen! It does an excellent job on the 48 minute cycle, even greasy things come out perfectly. I either need to let things air dry or hand dry them, but that saves on electricity. I’m very happy with my purchase.

We bought this dishwasher to replace a 15 year old GE dishwasher that had a broken roller on the bottom and I have to say I miss the heck out of the old one. This dishwasher has 2 different timed cycles, either 48 minutes or 212 (holy jeez!) minutes. No matter what cycle you pick if you use dishwashing tabs the tab only dissolves in about 50% of the wash cycles, usually I just find it intact in the bottom of the machine so now I only use liquid detergent. I find that I have to completely rinse or prewash whatever I put in, like if you make oatmeal in a bowl, that bowl will need to be prewashed because even after 212 minutes this dishwasher couldn’t figure it out. I really wish I hadn’t done the old appliance pickup/disposal because I would have returned this one within a week.

Pros: Really quiet, easy to set up.
Cons: Hoses can easily be kinked and unable to pump water if you don’t make sure to pull all the way out. When that happens, washer just beeps every minute and theres no error code and nothing in manual about how to troubleshoot.
Can’t see “clean” light when door closed and turns right off as soon as you open door. Why can’t it stay on for 5 minutes after you open door? Defeats purpose of even having one.
First round doesn’t heat water so prerinse (?) is cooler temp water, I would’ve liked it heated.
Bottom tray sometimes hard to slide back in. Something gets caught somehow.

It’s ok for the price. When I start it sometimes I have to try it a couple of times. It doesn’t always get the dishes clean. I rinse the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher. I’m not sure I there is something else I need to buy to make be a five star.

I find a couple of design problems with the unit racks are a poor design. The cord an water pick up hoses are to short. The unit was also damaged when delivered.

Im a baker and have lots of greasy dishes. This dishwasher is amazing it cleans very well all my heavy duty greasy dishes .I have tried different companies and this is the best . Everything comes out sparkling clean .I love it and highly recommend it . I have told my friends and family about it . It’s portable and easy to use . I needed to get an extra attachment to my faucet and it was worth it .

This is the worst dishwasher I have ever had and I’ve had quite a few. In the beginning, the soap door only opened approx every other time I ran the dishwasher, so I would have to run it a second time. The dishes were still not as clean as I expected. I had the technition come out and they replaced the soap dispenser. The problem continued so the tech came out again and replaced the control board. The problem continued so the tech came out and replaced the pump. The soap dispenser finally started working regularly however the dishes are still not very clean and I end up hand washing many of them. I also put them in the dishwasher rinsed off. Also, this dishwasher does not have a dryer so dishes come out wet.At this time I am waiting for another tech to come out and replace all the spraying arms. Hopefully this works. I am extremely frustrated and would like my money back or an exchange for a different brand. Evidently that is not an option at this time.

This is a great dishwasher. I’m upset because it doesn’t dry the dishes! I did find out thru a video if when finished washing cycle, which on light is 48 min, if you open the door quickly and place a Terry cloth dish towel on the door and close the door it will absorb the water. Guess what? IT WORKS.
I MUST SAY MY OLD PORTABLE DISHWASHER WAS A GOOD 25 yrs old if not older.

Its a nice dishwasher and we are so glad we got it. Decent price and fairly decent quality. I only have one complaint: the hose doesnt stay retracted very well and likes to slide back out. Not syre if its normal or not, but i wish they had a way to hold it in better. Even just like a little flap that slides down. Still glad we have it, regardless of that minor inconvenience.

The only downside was one of the front wheels was broken. As Best Buy already had their sale, they wouldn’t do anything to replace. Luckily, GE came through beautifully.
