Great for small spaces! Works great and I like that i don’t have to worry about putting my clothes in separate dryer
3Cats3 –
Just had W/D delivered today. Washes just fine, however the drying left much to be desired. Clothes still felt semi damp and were very wrinkled even after drying for almost 3 hours. I have 15 days to put it to the test, but may return it sooner if it doesn’t perform better.
Washer –
Service was great and the washer dryer combo works great. Thank you .
Coolkrys –
Quiet machine with a lot to offer. The drying time is long , otherwise I am very satisfied.
Sloooowwwww –
Takes about 7 hours to do a load of 3 towels and they are still damp
TMac –
Worked great til the warranty ran out and the dryer no longer dried the clothes.
Tiffany –
I had this professionally installed, so it was done correctly and is level, but this washer / dryer shakes terribly. It doesn’t clean as well as a washer should, and the drying takes 4+ hours. It never dries the first cycle, leaving clothes more than just damp after hours. There is no indication between wash and dry cycles so you can take clothes out that need to air dry. You can pause the cycle after the clothes are washed, but it takes a long time for it to actually pause so you can unlock the door. I’m hugely disappointed.
Holly –
It’s the best thing I ever bought myself it works great I’m very happy with it
Garbage –
Washing…does it well…good enough
Drying…takes forever

We really like this compact machine and the service from BB. We were able to convert a main floor closet to a laundry with plenty of room. This option works for a 1-2 person household and if you are adaptable. We tend to use the quick wash setting with medium spin, which runs about 2:13. The clothes will sometimes feel damper than they are – just hang them up or toss them on the bed to dry! It is important to not overload. However, unless the load is very light, it crawls during the spin cycle. We sprang for the riser (wish it had storage) and high-quality anti-vibration pads with no luck. With the pads, it is almost impossible for us to move it back, so we have to find a solution. Otherwise, five stars.
Clean –
I bought the floor model. It was a great price and I love the quality of the machine
Rose –
Great unit, still looking for the right load size to prevent wrinkles but overall dries well. Love that it is ventless and small. Takes about 3 hours beginning to end. Some people reports lint around the door, I do not have that issue. Run a vinegar wash to break down lint that may accumulate in the condenser as recommended. The filter door is a pain to open. Use a thin screwdriver and push down. Overall very pleased by my purchase.
ED40 –
Working good, 2 function in 1 appliance is a great idea. Wash and dry is fantastic.
BostonTerrierMom –
Hey all, this machine is a great purchase for small loads. Just as a heads up you need to make sure you run a clean cycle on this machine because it doesn’t flush the lint/hair build up as well as it could. I had to have a tech come out to clean it as I have a pet and her hair proceeded to clog up the internal components which I can’t access.
Jenn –
It is very quiet and does not vibrate at all. It holds more than I anticipated.
Washer –
Love my new washer and dryer! Its a great size for apartments!
ValS13 –
I bought this unit fir my salon suite ( solo stylist , 2 loads of towels a day ) i purchaed in may 2020, and i just laid it to rest last week. GE came out for repair, replaced a few parts , ($540 later) and it still doesnt dry . Never again
CynthiaT –
So far so good. I love putting in my clothes. Set it and forget it. Things come out dry.
I wish I knew how short it was. I need to order a stand and need someone to help install
StoryMerchant –
This has been the best washer-dryer combo in the last 20 years. It actually dries clothes well for the first time. It is very quiet and we like the options for each cycle.
RichardM –
Hasn’t showed up yet, they keep postponing it. Maybe I’ll get it by spring.
KimberelyS –
works well but takes a little more time to dry. Love that it doesn’t have to be vented and runs on 120 volts.
PaulB –
This unit takes extra dry time, but this can be overcome by smaller loads run on a light cycle. It is also a plus that having one compact unit allows us to recover significant storage space in or condo.
RobertoC –
Good machine
Can’t be loaded too much, but it dries well and quickly
gary1 –
We needed to install a washer dryer in the kitchen because my inlaws could not go up and down stairs anymore.
This was easy to install and didn’t need a 220volt plug or a vent. Just a 110 volt plug and access to water/drain.
Works great but sometimes a pair of jeans comes out after drying slightly damp. So just need to hang them to finish drying or add more drying time.
Usually run the machine at night so it’s done when we get up.
Quiet. Able to sit in the room while its runnning.

I only ordered this model because it came with all of the hoses. The hoses were not in the box and Best Buy would not help me with that. They told me to go buy a set at Best Buy for over $60. I said, I paid extra for this model so that it wouldn’t happen. They said to contact the manufacturer. So, I did and now the manufacturer will send me the hoses in the near future. Also, my delivery was late by several months. What a wait to do laundry. LOL (PS: This item is soooo heavy!!!!) Two strong people had trouble with it.
BJM31386 –
We upgraded from a Splendide combo unit to this GR unit and man oh man are we surprised. We can wash double the amount and it dries fairly well for a non ducted unit. Saves us money too as we can now wash our kids twin blankets in it.
JohnT –
Because your store kept changing the date of delivery for my purchase I had to cancel the purchase and buy it from another company.
SherylW –
I didn’t want to keep going down the basement to do wash since I’m a senior citizen, and sometimes have trouble with the stairs. I put this in my second bedroom. Problem solved!
LynnetteF –
As a senior in assisted living, this GE Front Load Washer/Dryer Combo is absolutely the BEST choice over stacked units which I had removed from my apartment. My only disappointment is the back-ordered 4″ pedestal which would help raise it just enough to be perfect!
clive –
love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SharleyV –
Quick and real smooth. Best tech team, friendly and they explained everything plain and simple.
Adina –
I like it very much. The fact that I don’t need another machine for drying with that special installation for exhaust, it is significant for me. Both washing and drying are working well with multiple options similar with traditional W/D.
AndreaS –
It work, my only complaint is the dryer time, you need to hang the clothes to complete dry or spend hours and hours doing it inside the machine … but I love it anyway, has good capacity, work for me
IlianaH –
I brought this washer dryer combo in 2001, so far I’ve had to fix it three times ! totally not worth the money, worse buy ever!
JessH –
For a 2 in one I would say this is pretty nice! If I do a clothes only load it normally dries in first drive, if I do a towels only load it needs a second dry, but that is to be expected with a steam dryer. All around a great purchase for my camper though!
IvanM –
We live full time rv. It fits perfectly in the closet. It does take 2hours and 30 min for a full wash and dry cycle. Its pretty heavy for just one person. So ask a buddy for help
user803162 –
This washer/dryer takes a longer time to dry clothes than a regular dryer does, but it is still nice. Overall, I am glad that i bought it.
JohnG –
This thing is absolutely horrible. We bought it for our 5th wheel and it’s extremely violent and loud. When it’s spin drying it shakes the whole camper and will walk 15 feet across the floor and break the water line and power line because it’s so aggressively spinning. Don’t buy this trash. We are literally throwing this unit away and we paid $1600 plus $400 for warranty.
RobbC –
Key is the inlet water temp, desired is 55-60 degrees F if you find in summer your up to 70 can expect to run add on drying
MarleneC –
Works perfectly! Very Reliable! Thank you Total Tech!!
Jlynn2021 –
I have had this combo washer/dryer for a few months now. I absolutely love it. I am in an RV fulltime and this allows me the convenience of washing at home instead of a laundromat. It does shake a bit when it is on the spin cycle but I believe that is because of where it sits. It is ventless so the clothes may feel damp when the cycle is done but their not. (as long as you haven’t over packed it) It does take 3 hours and 7 minutes to do a normal cycle but it’s nice to not have to switch my clothes over to a dryer.
MariaB –
Great for garage and small spaces, no dryer vent needed. Great for only two, busy people. I can put a load in morning and clothes ready when I get home from work. Can put another load in and will be ready in morning.
TrevorW –
Great combo nice to have everything in one unit, works great
Gaine1 –
we waited almost 2 months for the delivery and the item was punched on the side when it arrived. This is a Best Buy problem not actually with the washer dryer that we didn’t have the chance to try yet.
FaithB –
This little machine does the job! I’m impressed. Ventless dry feature doesn’t overheat my small space.
Judy –
It does a great kob with everything. I just put a small load in once a week and leave it. I tale it out when its done and generally it is dry enough. I don’t like to over dry my clothes because that is hard on them. I love the fact that I don’t have to baby sit my laundry.
CristianB –
Don’t afraid, is the best to start the washing machine and to gett the clothes 100% dried. Is super silent and if you fill it 70% with clothes, is gonna work perfect . I recommend this one to everyone that is living in a Rv , or have a small house. The guys from delivery was verry polite and very handy.
Customer –
I needed a washer and dryer that would fit in my apartment, and this is the right size. It works great so far, and would recommend it for someone who needs a washer/dryer combo for an apartment, but would suggest that you have the washer hookups and a drain.
Tamara –
It fits perfectly to my small storage which is inside my 2 bedrms 2 bath condo! Love it!
CeeBee –
Adjust your expectations – if you’re used to a vented dryer that dessicates every load and you come unglued by a bit of residual moisture, then, no, you’re not going to be pleased. If you do back to back loads for several people on the weekend, this also isn’t going to be the most efficient system. However, if you want a machine that doesn’t take up a huge amount of space and you’re the type who frequently forgets to move the wash to the dryer (ewwww, mildew!), this machine is a gem. It can be set to continue tumbling for several hours to prevent wrinkling, so you can delay start it before bed and have your clothes ready the next morning.
Yes, there’s some *very* slight moisture remaining at the end of the dry cycle, but it dissipates in the time it takes for you to fold/hang everything. It’s really NBD.
