    When I needed to replace my malfunctioning microwave I tried to buy the exact same GE part number but it was not available. I have a limited space so I had to stay with a similar external size. This unit seems to be the newer version of the the one it replaced. It is not as nice. Lighter, cheaper, louder and does not have some operating features the old one had. For instance, the power level can not be changed while the unit is running. Overall this unit works fine but I am a little dissapointed with it.

    We had to go with GE this size. Old GE died after 15 years!
    BestBuy had the lowest price on this microwave and free delivery!

    I bought this microwave exactly 1 month ago and the keypad has already bubbled and opened at the “1”. The door and push button to open the microwave are very flimsy so I don’t anticipate they’ll last long. I would not recommend.

    We do not like this microwave. It does not heat food well and takes longer. It was bought to replace another GE microwave that stopped working after 6 months. That microwave was bought to also replace another GE microwave that died after 6 months use. We only re bought GE microwaves because the company gave us credit for a new one. I would never again buy another GE microwave

    I’ve had a few Microwaves and this GE Model was the best. Lasted 7 yrs, used daily . I was so happy to find the identical GE model at Best Buy. Would recommend for a family.

    So far, works perfectly. Fits into my cabinet space. Directions for use are different from my previous microwave but so far I have been able to heat whatever I needed.

    I love this microwave ! we sold our house with this microwave in it 5 yrs ago & couldnt find one this size .Had to settle on another microwave & it was so loud ,the beep at the end of the new microwave gave me anxiety .It was soo loud & irritating .As well as the plate in the botton ,it would not stay put . It cooks the food perfectly! Please never stop making this one!! I love ,love ,love it!

    THERE WAS ALOT OF HOT AIR COMING OUT OF THE BOTTOM WHILE I COOKED FOR 4-5 MINUTES. NOT MUCH COMING OUT OF SIDE VENT.IT GOT VERY HOT ON THE RIGHT REAR TOP.I ‘M SURE THE AIR FROM FRONT WASN’T RIGHT I WAS AFRAID IT MIGHT BE RADIATION.I HAD TO RETURN IT.

    Bought & installed Monday and FRiday it failed to microwave. This would have the the third GE microwave model I’ve brought in 12 years; only bought them because it fits my build-in microwave trim of my kitchen cabinets. I was willing to live with it if would have lasted 3-4 years. Best Buy was great with the return. I turned around and bought a Panasonic.

    This is exactly like our old microwave which died and that is why we bought it. We really like the features (add 30 sec, push a number for that number or minutes), but we did notice that even though this has the same rating and is the same model as our old one, it is NOT as powerful and takes a bit longer to do what the old one did. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.
