Preacher –
I really like this scale. It is easy to use and provides a lot of health data. I like the fact that it is all contained within the Garmin Connect app with all my other health data.

Can’t get it to work. Set it aside and now can’t return it. Seems to be a problem with updating the firmware, and can’t get it to update. Sad. I’ll take it up with Garmin support. It seems to be well made, just likely an older unit possibly…
JuanG –
The weight display is spot on, it was easy to set up and the price I pay was very reasonable
SerjG –
Bought this item for health motivation reasons, and it’s pretty accurate for what it can do. A bit off on certain things I’m sure but pretty cool, Decent price. I use it often.

Had the original Smart Scale for the better part of 8 years. The 2nd generation does not disappoint. Woth the updated LCD screen that is bright to the newest metrics that show on the scale and not just the Garmin Connect app. Highly recommend
JohnV –
It works extremely well yet it functions better barefoot
RobertA –
Body fat percentage is way off compared to other qaulit scales and actual measurements.

This thing rocks. Accurate weigh, sent straight to my phone. Great product.

It is accurate on the waight, however if you want to know BMI, and Body Fat percentage is very very off. About 5 per cent points.
Greg –
I have had other scales that kept records and tracks for me but this is the best one I have ever had.
Rick –
Great way to track your weight progress. Works as advertised
JasonS –
Good scale, been using an Arboleaf for years and the Garmin is always spot on in comparison
SNelson401 –
Great looking, well packaged, easy to set up, links with my wifi and works great! A must have for dieters and athletes.
PeteH –
Works great and perfectly syncs with garmin connect app
Bestbuy123 –
Works great and easy to use/ set up. No problemsss
Iago –
Love this scale, easy to use and it shows me correct weight
Jsno –
Love it, i like the features it has to break down weight and other metrics.
Awesome –
It’s super simple to setup, automatically integrated to Garmin Connect, with automatic profile detection. It works perfectly!
tvguy –
It’s a scale with some bells and whistles that are questionable on accuracy. Weight is probably spot on. The rest of the fancy tracking can leave you wondering. Luxury scale, we’ll see how it does over time.
GregE –
It works perfect for my use. I don’t have to continually fight with it to upload the data
DanJ –
Excellent connects with my garmin app so everything is in one place. Also looks very nice
MrSheev –
The Garmin Index S2 Smart Scale meshes seamlessly with my Garmin Forerunner 955, making it a joy to use for fitness tracking. It’s a bit of a splurge, but the integration and user experience justify the price for those deeply invested in the Garmin ecosystem.
RichardJ –
Great product-would recommmend others to buy-easy to connect with App.
Randomguy –
Seems very accrrate and syncs very quickly. I have seen nothing wrong so far

Over complicates the whole process doing a simple thing. Smart features are nice but annoying when they try to force it on you do a simple task. Just adding a different user is an annoying and long process. And when you actually do want to use it wants to update. So if youre in a hurry good luck. It’s expensive for what it actually does, you probably can get more bang for your buck with a scale that doesnt overcomplicate itself in my opinion
Jens –
Great product-lots of data, easy to use, allows for easy tracking of health metrics.
Familyguy –
Love the scale and particularly the body composition measures. It is great to have this as a trend for maintaining fitness goals and assessing body fat and muscle mass. With the normal fluctuation in daily weight and the suboptimal value of BMI as an overly broad measure of health, this scale adds a lot.

It’s a Garmin product, it just works and synchs easily with the smartphone app. However, I would not recommend it for the following reasons.
1. It is extremely difficult to see what your weight is, one little movement and it changes by up to 5 lbs. Step off and it’s gone.
2. The other data shows up on the screen, then it’s gone. I have no idea where it is stored for use. I only saw weight in my app.
3. It is a shiny black surface. If you’ve had any piano finish items, you know it shows everything. Micro dust, finger and foot prints. My wife said, “We’ll have to clean it every day.”
4. It’s expensive to only get weight into the app.
Overall, it’s fine, but I’m returning mine.
ChrisM –
Works great, no connection issues as some have stated. Has all the health indicators I need.
EmilyB –
Easy to set up and connect. Large display is easy to read and data is easy to understand. Syncs with Garmin Connect and other apps in moments.
Betty –
Amazing scale it helped us watch my mother in law gain weight she said it was a fluke but it wasn’t she maxed out the limit you would have thought she hit the rev limiter on her car she just kept going higher and higher sadly she finally started to figure the scale out shes now on the lighter side of 300 but it showed every stat of the weight gain surprisingly her bone mass never increased
Ceasr –
Works fine, only convenient if you have garmin products and phone app.
LyndaHH –
Difficulty in the initial setup. Too complicated.
The setup process could/should be less labor intensive!
JoesephS –
Helpful to keep a close eye on your weight. Worth the investment.
DebR –
Easy to set up, works great and gives tons of information!
Jorge –
Worked amazing and easy to set up. Had looked at other brands but decided on this one and it was worth the buy.
Nomatic –
Pairing with my Garmin watch and the Garmin Connect App on my phone and computer is easy. I have had no problems with the scale.
Adam –
Scale works well. It was pretty easy to set up using the Garmin Connect app.
Excellent –
Very accurate like how you can make profiles with other users Garman products are pretty awesome
ChristoJ –
Everything works as expected! The body fat % is a great feature to have. I weigh in 2-3 times a day now. The readings are accurate. I definitely recommend.
NathanH –
Every morning and every night i use this. Its great to keep track of my weight. I actually can see a slow change over time since it records every weigh in. Keeps me motivated
EdG1 –
Easy to use and to setup. Give lots of data in a few seconds.

I got this as a gift and I actually have the same version in white that I use myself. It has been great for tracking my health and fitness goals. Its easy to use and I think it looks nice.
RayB –
Worth every penny they make good products we have a lot there stuff
CaraD –
We owned the previous model of the Garmin index smart scale. After a couple years it stopped working, and we replaced it with the Garmin index S2 smart scale. The scale has never worked correctly. We can only connect to one of our accounts at a time. I can weigh myself four times and get four different weights. Was hoping to return it, but it only had a 15 day return window. Now I am stuck with this terrible $155 scale.
AnitaJ –
Been waiting for a Garmin scale. It works great and is reliable.
Oscar –
The scale connects to Garmin Connect via wifi to upload data as well as to get fitness data, such as cycling power output to calculate watts per kilogram. It provides a lot of information, not only about weight but also about body composition. So far I am happy with it. Also it can be used by up to 15 users.
Paul –
This scale is awesome. The color display is easy to read and displays all the information I need. This connected to my Garmin Connect App is a bonus as all my devices connect here and show a plethora of data.
AnonymousFarley –
The scale does what I expected. I step on it, it calls me fat using multiple fields to prove it’s point; and then uses the Internet to tattle on me to my phone via the Garmin connect app so that I receive sporadic notification reminders to help me make skinnier choices. Thank you Garmin!

The scale makes it super easy to track my fitness progress. I love being able to have multiile people registered.
