    I bought it to support my window AC. But the angle of the bracket is kind of strange and obviously it did not fit my window. So, finally I set up the AC without using it.

    It’s a solid AC support. It takes some drilling skills and a little patience to mount it to window frame.
    Level adjusting arm sometimes slips off the brick wall, though it stays on when more pressure applied. So its safe and sound when AC unit lays on it 🙂
    Just a tip for all who might use it in the future, try to mount it the way that AC unit is leveled not the bracket.

    If you have the perfect window, then this will be perfect for you. It did not fit my window and needed some modification to support the A/C unit. Would look for a different one.

    This bracket is okay for a small AC. The installation was a bit challenging because when the area that leans against the wall was put in place, the top part could not reach the ledge. Had to adjust it by making an additional hole so it could have a longer reach.

    it’s not a bad item actually, but, unless you have a problem installing the AC with the OEM attachments, i think it’s a huge hassle to install this mount. It also doesn’t fit well if you’re windows are not brand new. I bought it thinking it would make installation easier, but, after messing with it for a little bit, I just went with installing it regularly using what came with the unit.

    The support for the new Air Conditioner did not work with the type of windows it said it did. “Vinal Windows”. I had to build a wooden frame to hold the Air Condition. The Air Conditioner I am pleased with. In dose very well. I was not able to get a refund as it was an open box item so far.

    The air conditioner required larger size bracket than the one that I ordered.

    This may work for most installations.
    However, It required modifications to make it work for my application involving a Frigidaire FFRE1233S1, vinyl windows, and a brick window ledge. The inclusion of 1 more spacer (plastic footing) and longer screws, may have avoided the need to make a shim to place between the AC unit and the support bracket. The angle of the the brackets support leg should allow for a few more degrees of adjustment.

    now using this bracket, but I’m depending more on window to hold unit.
    product is well made,
    and instruction are good but design is lacking a positive hold feature connecting top to bottom bar. unit depends on rubber foot holding to wall, which it doesn’t do well, and needs either individual nuts/bolts for each side, or a long bolt/rod connecting top bar to bottom, which would also aid in adjusting level of air cond, (tightening long bolt provided does not provide adequate “pinch” of parts.

    It works but I will say this, I am a tradesman and this wasn’t exactly ideal for my window so I used my background in construction to make it work. It’s awesome and way less bulky than the platforms I’ve made in the past but it took a little skill to make it work in my windows. I am a fan though.
