    I Love it. I’ve been cooking dinner every night. Instantly fire’s up. Takes a few minutes to cool down but worth it once you get use to cooking with it.

    I am very pleased with my new Frigidaire Cooktop. It is beautiful and I am enjoying cooking on it. I really like the way the knobs are along the right side of the top. This was a perfect cooktop…I looked at many other brands but, there is none that I liked…..but this one.

    It has a really bad smell coming from it. Pot was literally floating off the heat surface, way too slick. Not sure if the return process will be accommodating to getting a regular coil cooktop ASAP.
    I had the delivery / installation guys haul away my old one and I regret that so much right about now. I need it back!!!

    The Frigidaire cooktop has already started to show signs of wear.
    The first use we saw blemishes. The old one was more durable. It was a GE. The two don’t compare. The Frigidaire was less expensive. Now I see why.

    Our stove top got cracked so we needed to replace. We have been very happy with the Frigidaire stove top thus far. One feature is thay two eyes have two sizes of heating which makes them very versatile.

    Nice cooktop. Install was a little difficult. Just because it did not come with the foam support for protection on certain type surfaces. Not sure if it needed it but added since I had granite countertops. Like how it’s working. Got on sale so worth it.

    This Frigidaire cook top was a replacement for a 14 year year old Frigidaire cook top which broke when I accidentally dropped something heavy on it. This was a perfect replacement, it fit right into the counter top and your techs had it wired in within minutes. I will be happy if a get another 14 years of good service from this new top. It works as promised and the wife is very happy with the purchase, although after my breaking the original top she is not very happy with me.

    We wanted a flat surface, black, ceramic top range and this one fit the bill. However, after a year of using it, we like it less and less each day.

    1. It’s hard to clean, even with the proper cleansing product. You have to scrub, which we fear will eventually remove the surface, even though we are paying for the exact recommended cleaning product, which isn’t cheap.
    2. What is MOST annoying is the serious lack of regulation of the temperature ranges. Despite having options from 1-6 (dual top) and 1-8 on the others, there is no difference. It’s either Medium or high, there is no “low”! And high is ridiculously HOT! It burns everything.

    Additionally, the top stays hot for nearly an hour after you turn it off! So we can’t leave any thing on the burner even though the power is turned off. We’ve ruined a pan because of this.

    We’ve learned to use even heavier bottom pots and cook everything on medium or use the smaller ranges. We only use the “instant boil” range for just that – boiling water. This is does fabulously! However, we can’t cook anything else on it, or else it burns.

    We are experienced cooks and use proper high quality pots and pans. We will be replacing this when we redo our kitchen next year and return to our previous brand.

    Very disappointing purchase.

    I bought this cooktop to replace my 30 year old
    Jennair. I needed a new cooktop right away but did not want to spend a lot of money on one. I plan to do a complete kitchen renovation in a few years. This cooktop looks nice and seems to do the job. So as long as it last 3-4 years I’ll be happy.
