    It’s a fine game… a weaker version to the previous iteration. The abilities here are fine, I miss the romantic options of previous games, this game is fine addition to the series but could have been better

    If you like fe you’ll like this game. Slightly less story than three houses but an even better battle system. If the story is more important to you, youll want to stick to 3 houses.

    I have a bit of a jumbled opinion on this title. Gameplay, which you could make the argument is the most important factor, is perfect. Playing this game was a blast. Now with that out of the way, this being the next main series title after Three Houses all of the characters and the story felt to paint by numbers and one dimensional. Most, if not all, of the characters are forgettable compared to every other main line Fire Emblem game. Music was good, but felt a little lacking as well. Overall worth a playthrough for the gameplay itself.

    A variety of different characters/classes, strategy RPG gameplay, and gorgeous art design in my opinion. What more can you ask for? This game is a bit endearing and a bit serious at some points in the story, which I can say it balances well overall. Its the perfect treat for both new and old fans of the Fire Emblem series!

    What a blast to play! If you enjoyed this game on Gameboy advance this one is just like it! Have the game almost beat, takes about 30-40 hrs to comply the game. Highly recommend it.

    If you’re a fan of Fire Emblem, you already own this and the DLC.

    If you’ve never played a Fire Emblem game before, this game probably isnt for you. I’d start with 3 Houses, or one of the older titles.

    If you have played, Engage has excellent player-phase focused gameplay and is super rewarding.

    Fire Emblem Engage goes back to the series’ roots with its story meant for its series anniversary. Sadly the classic story of Fire Emblem is pretty weak lol. That said the combat is very fun I would go as far as to say it is one of the harder fire emblem games especially when you fight against the extra enemies. For the combat alone I would say this is a much have if it were to go on sale.

    This is a solid Fire Emblem game. The character designs are so unique. The story is quite fun too. The classes they offer here are also fun as there is a lot of magic options which is what I look for. And it’s definitely worth getting the DLC for the very cool bonus characters and items.

    I thought FE Engage was a fun fire emblem game on console. I have put many hours into the game and enjoyed my time with it. I prefer the FE series on 3ds way more though. I don’t have many complaints for the game, but would only recommend to FE fans.

    I’m a fan of the Fire Emblem series since it came out in game boy. This title is not as good in my opinion, I like that many other characters come out in this one; however, the game play had drastic changes which changed the game and is not as enjoyable to me.

    As far as the story goes, its stupid. BUT, as far as the gameplay is concerned, its seriously some of the best on the series. I love being able to stagger enemies by hitting them with their weakness as it offers a whole new layer of strategy to the game (especially since the enemies can do the same to you). Its so much fun to play and I really hope the next FE game builds off this gameplay style even more. Its a shame this released so early in 2023 as I feel this game ended up getting buried and overshadowed by many other releases this year, but dont miss this one! Lets just hope the next game has a more ENGAGING story.

    A really nice, welcomed addition to the fire emblem franchise. Plays smooth, runs smooth, and looks even smoother. The game feels highly polished and extremely fun to play on all its difficulties.
