    combat is a big departure from the traditional turn based FF formula, but it works well. Still feels like final fantasy, so they must’ve gotten it right.

    I am a sucker for anything square-enix and this game is no exception. Besides from the deviation from the already established turn based combat, this iteration in the series is a breath of fresh air. My only concern is that your first play through you don’t get an option to select a harder difficulty. The real game starts on the second play through. Long story short, in the initial play through you only get to level 50 at maximum. New game plus or Final Fantasy Mode unlocks high level capacity.

    Overall, i have enjoyed this game. Like many others have said, the graphics are fantastic and the combat is fluid and really enjoyable. I like that the game can be saved pretty much anywhere. However, the ridiculous, gratuitous use of the F word is beyond offensive, since it gets used hundreds of times by Clive in battles and by many others constantly. I wish there was a way to filter that out, along with the nudity and sex scenes. This is not what FF has been based on in previous games and i hope that’s not the future of this franchise. Overall I enjoyed the main story but hated most of the pointless side quests.

    Game starts off with a bang and more mature tone that sets it apart from recent games in the franchise. Sadly, the story and characterizations kind of falls apart towards the end but it has solid game play, great visuals and a battle system that can be customized to each players preferred style.

    As a long time fan of the Final Fantasy series, this game brings a new twist. Action combat without waiting for turn base keeps you thinking ahead. Played both story and open, both have twists you normally wiildnt see in a FF series game. I found it to be extremey fun for me.

    Another great final fantasy chapter. It’s more fast-paced in a devil may cry kind of way, but i had fun with the combat system. The summons are awesome, and I really enjoyed a lot of the character arcs.

    FFXVI has amazing graphics. Furthermore, it has an immersive storyline that makes you fall in love with some of the characters. The battle system is similar to the one for Devil May Cry, getting a little away from the old FF battle style. This game is more on the serious side of the spectrum, more appealing to older teenagers and adults.

    Not your typical Final fantasy game. Graphics are awesome and the narrative is more down to earth but the combat is nothing like your classic FF title.

    This is the most solid entry into the series and ive played every single final fantasy game. The graphics are unparalleled as well as the game play being sharp, fast and fun. 10/10 and a must own for life long fans of the series such as myself.

    Very good game , i loved the combat and the world design. The characters had life and emotion. The story is top notch. The only draw back would be a few hours in i hit a fun wall , but I keep going only to come out with a story/ending to the game. Its a real FF piece. Top 5 of FF games.
