    This is a sharp little lens, with a quick autofocus. The lens seems to be good and sharp all the way across the frame. The build quality is very good, but the price does seem a bit high when compared to similar lenses from other manufacturers. The lens, when paired with the A7C, makes a very small kit for full frame street photgraphy. Overall, I can easily recommend this lens.

    Great small light lens for a full frame. Definitely great for street photography but even with portraits it’s tack sharp and produces great colors. Great auto focus. I keep this one in my bag all of the time.

    I’m an enthisiast aka wannabe photographer. This lens pairs nicely with the a7c and is constantly on my person. What i like about this lens is that i can get the shots of the fam but also do some more creative things as well.

    Package arrived with almost ZERO protection at all. The lens is about 500 dollars and best buy just ships it out in a paper bag, what a fricking joke of a company. Do better.

    This prime lens is my absoluate go-to and always docked onto my Sony Alpha A7IV. The kitty cam has never looked as crisp. I bought this as opened box 8 months ago and would rate it just the same if bought full retail.

    This is definitely an excellent lens from Sony! I use this lens with my Sony A7Riii and the picture details are amazing. I also use this lens with Sony’s Clearimage function where this prime lens turns into a zoom lens without losing any sharpness or picture detail. Amazing all around lens!

    Been loving this lens as a companion to my a7CR it’s super sharp light weight but above all else FUN! Having the manual aperture is really fun to use It’s one of the many reasons I love my film camera and this gives me a similar feeling when shooting it’s expensive tho especially for a f2.5
